The main purposes of 1 quarter 2017 in the Russian IT industry

1 quarter 2017 was rich in personnel changes in the IT industry. TAdviser summarized what shifts happened for this period.

Mikhail Oseevsky

In March, 2017 with a five-year term of office Mikhail Oseevsky who was earlier holding a post of the deputy chairman of VTB bank board was appointed the president of Rostelecom. The corresponding directive was approved by the government. As the president of Rostelecom Oseevsky replaced Sergey Kalugin.

Sergey Kalugin

At the end of March, 2017 the prime minister Russia Dmitry Medvedev appointed the former president Rostelecom Sergey Kalugin the deputy head Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications. The Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich before this appointment noted[1]that such replacement of the leadership will strengthen first of all the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications.

Ulf Persson

In January, 2017 Ulf Persson was appointed the CEO of ABBYY. He released Sergey Andreyev heading Abbyy since 1999 from this duty. Having left from the CEO's post, Andreyev remained the shareholder of the company. Change of the CEO is connected with the purposes of the company for the next several years, spoke in Abbyy.

Nikita Volkov

On January 26, 2017 Nikita Volkov was appointed the acting as the head of the Technologies block of Sberbank. The president of bank German Gref calculates that "the highest professionalism" will allow Volkov to bring the Technologies block to new level.

Maxim Semenikhin

In January, 2017 Red Hat announced appointment as the new area manager in Russia and the CIS countries of Maxim Semenikhin. Its main objective of this position - the embodiment of the long-term development strategy Red Hat in the Russian market including sales increase, development of affiliate and educational programs and increase in brand recognition of the company in Russia.

Andrey Galkovsky

In January, 2017 R-Style Softlab reported that the CEO's post returned to the company Andrey Galkovsky. According to R-Style Softlab, in 2016 Galkovsky left the company on personal circumstances - because of need to pay attention to family. Priorities which are delivered before it upon return became increase in sales of own IT products R-Style Softlab in the Russian banks of TOP 100 and further promotion of the solutions Asseco Group in the markets of the neighboring countries.

Vadim Uryas

In January, 2017 Freight One (FO) announced Vadim Uryas's appointment to a position of the deputy CEO for IT. Here he will supervise developments of information technologies for achievement of PGK of target operational indicators and also to ensure safety, optimization and risks assessment of information infrastructure of the company.

Sergey Scherbakov

On February 1, 2017 Sergey Scherbakov was appointed to the position of the CIO of "Home Credit Bank". Its main task in a new position – considerably to reduce time to market, i.e. time to market of new products and services. It is for this purpose going to implement actively methodology of development of Agile, to increase flexibility and openness of a technology platform, to automate processes, step by step to upgrade architecture, including due to implementation of microservices.

Vladislav Bunto

In March, 2017 SK "Uralsib Insurance" reported that Vladislav Bunto was appointed in the company the deputy CEO for IT. In this position he will supervise the directions connected with development of IT structures: development, implementation and maintenance of information corporate systems for the purpose of increase in efficiency of operating activities of the company.

Andrey Sergeyev

In February, 2017 Andrey Sergeyev was appointed the CEO of Tiemsi Rus. In the territory of Russia and the CIS it is official representative office of TCL Communication which owns the rights to production of mobile devices under a brand of Alcatel. The new CEO will concentrate the main resources "on strengthening of the leading positions and gain of competitive advantages of a brand".

Grigory Sverdlikov

In February, 2017 Grigory Sverdlikov was appointed to the position of the CEO of Treolan - Lanita subsidiary company where it worked practically from the moment of foundation of the company.

Alexander Chukhlantsev

In January, 2017 the Experian company announced Alexander Chukhlantsev's appointment the managing director in Russia and the CIS countries. Its main objective in this position – expansion of business of the company in the area risk management, fraud preventions and credit portfolio management at all stages of its lifecycle.

Pavel Shevyrov

On February 14, 2017 the Administration of the governor of Perm Krai announced Pavel Shevyrov's appointment of the acting minister of information development and communication. The order about appointment was signed by the acting the governor of Perm Krai Maxim Reshetnikov appointed to this post in the same month. As well as Shevyrov, Reshetnikov has work experience in Prognoz company.

Evgeny Esaulov

In March, 2017 Evgeny Esaulov headed department of information technologies in Intouch insurance company. It released Vladislav Bunto who passed to work into SK "Uralsib Insurance" from this duty.

Egor Ivanov

On February 20, 2017 Egor Ivanov, the former CEO of Yota and the mayor of Innopolis, was elected the CEO of the Rusinformeksport company created in Rostec state corporation for the purpose of export of the IT products developed in Russia.

Igor Bardintsev

On January 31, 2017 Severstal Management announced appointment of Igor Bardintsev, the native of Sberbank the development director of digital technologies (CDO). In this position he will be responsible for development and deployment of digital strategy of Severstal and also consolidation of all digital aspects in the single system using the best world practices and providing growth of competitive advantages of the company.

Levan Vasadze

In the first quarter 2017 the place of the CEO in parent company of the AT Consulting group was taken by the new owner of the company Levan Vasadze. Earlier through the investment fund Prometheus Capital Partners he redeemed 95% of AT Consulting integrator. The founder of the company Sergey Shilov remained in it the minority shareholder from shares in 5%. In March he completed transfer of affairs to the new owner and finally left AT Consulting.
