The SevenYa chain of stores is one of the leading retail chains in the Perm Territory, which operates in the supermarket and hypermarket formats. To date, the Family has 26 stores, 22 of which are located in Perm, and 4 in the cities of Perm Territory: Berezniki, Dobryanka, Chusov. The owner of the brand "SevenYa" is the Management Company "EX."

History

2022: Beginning of signage replacement in three Perm stores

On November 10, 2022, Lenta announced that it had begun changing signs in stores of the Family chain.

By the end of November 2022, the signs of three hypermarkets Perm located at the addresses will be replaced: Revolution Street, 13, Borchaninova Street, 13 and Mira Street, 41/1. In addition, "Hyper Ribbon" will be a store at 82 Mira Street in the city of Berezniki.

Lenta will also design the cash areas of stores in a color scheme that corresponds to the brand concept. The company expanded the range of products presented in hypermarkets, increased the number of shares and promotional offers for buyers. Lenta plans to gradually change the signs of other Family outlets.

Previously, Lenta's loyalty program began operating in all 74 Family stores in Perm and Perm Territory. The company continues to develop the best practices of "Family" in order to offer residents of the region a large assortment at attractive prices. In December 2021, the retail chain launched the Right Wine project in hypermarkets in Perm and supermarkets in Yekaterinburg. In the stores of these cities, the products "Whales of Food" are also presented.

Completion of the acquisition by Lenta

On August 26, 2021, Lenta announced that its indirect subsidiary Lenta LLC had completed the purchase of the Family Group of Companies.

The purchase price at the time of closing amounted to about 2.45 billion rubles, which reflects a number of adjustments at the time of completion of the transaction related to the actual level of cash, debt and working capital of the Family Group of Companies.

As a result of the acquisition, approved Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia in July 2021, Lenta's share in the retail trade food market Perm Territory will be approximately 7%; the combined business will strengthen the company's position.

Within 12 months, Lenta plans to integrate stores, supply chain infrastructure, and employees of the Family chain into its own retail network.

This acquisition contributes to Lenta's strategic objectives and provides synergies for further business growth.

Lenta bought Family for 2.35 billion rubles

On June 17, 2021, Lenta announced the purchase of the Family group, which is the fourth largest retailer in the Perm Territory. The transaction cost amounted to 2.35 billion rubles.

The sale of the Family to Lenta will require approval from the Federal Antimonopoly Service. The deal, as Lenta predicts, will be closed in the summer of 2021.

Lenta plans to integrate Family supermarkets and supply chain infrastructure into its retail network, as well as save jobs for 3,200 employees of the Perm chain. Hypermarkets "Family" will be transferred to the brand "Lenta," supermarkets will be renamed "Super Lenta," and shops near the house - to "Mini Lenta."

Lenta CEO Vladimir Sorokin said that the purchase of the Family provides a synergistic effect for the further growth of Lenta.
