Urban Development Agency (AGR ANO)

The autonomous non-profit organization Urban Development Agency was established in 1999 to support entrepreneurship. This is the organization of business development infrastructure at the municipal level, whose work is based on the mechanism of public-private partnership. The interests of a large sector of the economy are represented by PJSC Severstal, the public and the authorities are the city hall of Cherepovets. These entities are the founders of the Agency.

Tasks of the Agency

• Creating favorable conditions for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the city;
• Development of support infrastructure for small and medium-sized enterprises;
• Provision of financial, property and information and consulting support to small and medium-sized enterprises;
• Improving the entrepreneurial climate and overcoming administrative barriers by interacting between business and government;
• Creation of a positive image of entrepreneurs in Cherepovets and Vologda Oblast;
• Development of international and interregional cooperation;
• Diversification of the city's economy, development of priority areas of activity (production, health, education) in order to eliminate the existing imbalances.

ELN Urban Development Agency is a member of the municipal program "Support and development of small and medium-sized enterprises, increasing the investment attractiveness of the city of Cherepovets for 2020-2024," participates in the implementation of regional and federal programs to support small and medium-sized businesses at the municipal level.
