2025: Investment of 460 million rubles in digitalization
In March 2025, it became known that Severstal will invest 460 million rubles in the digitalization of the Yakovlevsky plant. The project plans for 2025 to connect more than 150 chambers for storing mine materials to AI to automatically determine labor safety violations during routine operations by workers. More than 300 cameras were installed in the underground mine of the Yakovlevsky GOK within the framework of the Digital Mine project.
