Creation of a working group on AI ethics in the meditsinskoy̆ field

The Artificial Intelligence Code of Ethics (AI) Commission, which operates on the basis of the Alliance in the field of artificial intelligence, is creating a working group on the ethics of artificial intelligence in the meditsinskoy̆ field. Creation of a platform for interaction between business and universities

The Alliance in the Field of Artificial Intelligence on June 16, 2023 announced the creation of a platform for interaction between business and universities in order to introduce new approaches to education in the field of artificial intelligence and solve the problem of a shortage of specialized personnel. This was stated by First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Alexander Vedyakhin. Sber is one of the founders of the Alliance in the field of AI.

The site is a place for continuous dialogue required to "synchronize" the educational process with the market requirements for professions, support universities, the best teachers and researchers, and improve the quality of training of specialists in the field of AI.

The main areas of work are support and constant updating of the matrix of professions and competencies in the field of artificial intelligence, analysis of the quality of educational programs and training of graduates, consultations for universities, which will help identify growth points and improve the efficiency of the educational process, scaling the best practices of teaching AI disciplines, promoting the creation and development of industry AI programs, mass training of teachers at the courses of the Alliance and participating companies, a program of mass work with students of the country to improve the educational environment, attracting international partners.

As part of the first meeting at the Sberbank site, a discussion was held on the methodology and preliminary results of the rating of universities on the quality of training of specialists in the field of artificial intelligence, which forms the Alliance. The event was attended by rectors of leading universities, including MIPT, ITMO, MISIS, REU named after G.V. Plekhanov, FEFU, UGNTU, Innopolis, representatives of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia and Alliance companies.
