Simple is the Russian startup developing the application of the same name for control of a diet. Service is intended to help users to pass to a healthy and conscious diet using gradual change of habits and instilling of food discipline. It, according to authors of the project, should promote long-term results. Simple is positioned as the tracker of a power supply within which users receive the program of weight loss suitable for itself.

The Simple company is founded in 2019 by Mikhail Prytkov and Alex Ilyinsky. The head office is in Cyprus, and development center — in St. Petersburg.

History

2020: Attraction of 4.1 million euros investments

In December, 2020 the startup of Simple announced attraction of 4.1 million euros investments. Within Series A round the company was estimated at 34.6 million euros.

The investment transaction was headed by Target Global and Palta [Simple company cofounder]. S16 Angel Fund and the company of supermodel Natalya Vodyanovoy of Supernova also took part in it. Taking into account this round the total investment volume collected by Simple exceeded 6.6 million euros.

The company intends to spend the investments involved in December, 2020 for expansion and adding of the functions, most useful to users, who as developers hope, will make the platform "the preferable choice for power management and a way of life".

The Russian service attracted 4.1 million euros to control of a diet of Simple

For this purpose the startup will invest in research and development, artificial intelligence technologies, content production, development of new methodology and increase in the command in the field of medicine and data processing.

In the fall of 2020 the company invested in localization of a product on 6 languages, including French, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and German that allowed them to enter the markets of Europe and South America. The startup intends to expand geography of availability of the project.^[1][2][3][4]
