Palta

Palta was launched in September 2020 on the basis of the Haxus venture fund, founded by Yuri Gursky and Alexei Gubarev in 2016. The startup is engaged in the development of technological health & well-being products, in partnership with entrepreneurs launching products from scratch, and also invests in existing companies. In addition, Palta provides legal support, assistance with finding specialists in the team, access to specialized experts and other support.

History

2021: Attracting $100 million investment

In early August 2021, Palta announced the attraction of $100 million in investments. The Series B funding round was led by Per Brilliot of VNV Global, and the Target Global Fund and several other investors participated in it. Taking into account this transaction, the total amount of funds raised by Palta reached $139 million. The estimated cost of the startup is not called.

The resulting investments are planned to be spent on the development of new projects in the field of health: the Zing Coach training application, the Palta Labs experimental direction and the Palta Brain internal platform for product analytics and data management. By early August 2021, there are already several projects in the portfolio of companies in the field of medical technologies, including the application for analyzing women's health Flo and the application for interval fasting Simple. The number of users of the company's products exceeds 100 million people, and the number of users of paid functions - 2.4 million.

Palta's medium-term goal is to enter the exchange, and the long-term goal is to integrate products into a single ecosystem.
