On May 3, 2022, Teleport, which has Russian roots, announced the attraction of $110 million in investments and was valued at $1.1 billion and became another Silicon Valley unicorn. The Series C round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners with Insight Partners as well as existing investors Kleiner Perkins and S28 Capital.

Teleport, also known as Gravitational, began as a provider of an application management platform, but in 2022 the company shifted its focus to infrastructure access control. The company created Access Plane open source technology that helps organizations better cope with the complexity of running applications and services in multiple clouds. The company works by providing each individual user - connection, authentication, authorization and audit - this is necessary to provide access only to authorized users. According to company executives, their service reduces operational overhead and helps ensure security and compliance for business.

Founded by the Russian IB company Teleport raised $110 million and was valued at $1.1 billion
