2024: Rigla buys Pharmacy Minicen

According to Vedomosti, Rigla, a member of Vadim Yakunin's Protek group, expects to significantly expand its presence in the Far Eastern Federal District (Far Eastern Federal District) through this transaction. The purchased network covers all subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District, with the exception of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug.
A Rigla spokesman confirmed that this deal is part of the company's strategy to strengthen its position in the Far East. By early October 2024, the deal is under consideration by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).
RNC Pharma Development Director Nikolai Bespalov estimates the potential value of the transaction in the range from ₽2,6 billion to ₽3,8 billion. However, company officials have refrained from commenting on the financial details of the agreement by early October 2024.
"Pharmacies Minitsen" and "New Pharmacy" belong to Igor and Artem Zhukovich (70% of the total share) and Igor Boyarkin (30%). Rigla, founded in 2001, by October 2024 operates about 3,700 pharmacies in 58 regions of Russia under the brands Be Healthy, Rigla, Zhivika and the online service Zdravsiti Pharmacy. At the end of 2023, the company's revenue reached ₽153,4 billion, which provided it with a leading position in the ranking of pharmacy chains compiled by the analytical company DSM Group. [1]
