At the end of January this year, the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Moscow Region announced the launch of a taxi driver fatigue monitoring system. The first to introduce it was the company "Citimobil."

The solution works as follows: Two video cameras are installed in the car cabin, which monitor the road and the driver. The video analytics system developed by VisionLabs, based on the data obtained, is able to track a number of events, including the level of driver fatigue, the use of a seat belt, smoking in the cabin, talking on the phone, as well as distraction from driving. The available data also make it possible to draw operational conclusions about the manner of driving the driver, as well as to warn about dangerous approaches and maneuvers during the trip.

When a violation is recorded, the system gives an audio signal, and everything that happens is stored in the video archive for further "debriefing."

Moscow: PRO traffic service

The service provides a heat map of historical trips by taxi, car sharing and scooters (kicksharing), using impersonal data from aggregators and operators about the location of the car and the status of orders. You can see the distribution in Moscow of trips by taxi, car sharing or scooters made over the selected period of time.

Today, it is already obvious that this type of mobility is becoming a normal part of many cities, and kicksharing should become part of the transport infrastructure. It is necessary to offer the market convenient means of use and payment, this will be in demand.

The Moscow Data Center notes that the addition of these kicksharing operators to the PROMOD service will quickly identify new zones where kicksharing operators were not previously available, adjust transport routes to close trips of the "last mile" even in bad weather, make trips on the most popular routes safer and more comfortable.

The Moscow Department of Transport clarified that the service does not use the personal data of kicksharing users, and the starting and ending points of the trip are aggregated by segments so that it is impossible to see and fully track a certain trip.

Penza Region: Deep Accident Cause Analytics System

The main goal of the implementation of an automated road safety system in the Penza region, which was developed by AIT Software on the basis of the Forsyth product . Analytical platform, "- to reduce the number and severity of the consequences of an accident in the Penza region thanks to a deep automated analysis of their causes. The system collects and constantly updates data on the state of roads, as well as information on accidents in all areas of the Penza region. This allows you to quickly identify the places of concentration of accidents according to the given parameters: period of time, territory, types of accidents.

The platform toolkit allows you to online identify trends in road safety, rank the places of accident concentration by given indicators, and also provides information interaction for all participants in the OBDD process. In addition, based on the analysis of data, various groups of measures are formed aimed at reducing the number and severity of the consequences of accidents: organizational, information, educational and educational, engineering, construction and road, operational.

File:Aquote1.png
The new system provides full information support for the cycle of continuous improvement of the level of the BDD, unites all participants in the process of providing the BDD, including owners of roads, Rosstat, traffic police, executive bodies of state power, "comments Alexander Markin, head of the program support department of the Situation Center of the Governor of the Penza Region.

According to his estimates, in the first 11 months of use of the road safety system in the region, it was possible to reduce the number of deaths in accidents by 50 people and reduce economic damage from accidents by more than 850 million rubles.

Payment Services

File:Aquote1.png
This applies to public urban transport, suburban transportation, taxi segments, micromobility, joint trips, etc., the expert emphasizes and notes that today a number of companies are involved in the creation of such systems, which implement their own ideas in their development.
File:Aquote2.png

For example, in December 2021, North-West Bank of Sberbank, together with the Sbertroika company, launched a single ticket system based on the Troika card in Sosnovy Bor, Leningrad Region. A unified system allows free movement both within and outside the region, carrying out transfers between different modes of public transport. Passengers can pay for the passage with a bank or transport card, as well as with a Troika card, simply attaching it to the terminal that the driver has.

The innovation center "Safe Transport" of the Department of Transport Moscow is engaged in the development of mobile - MaaSapplications Moscow transport"," which provides access to all types of urban mobility, including taxis, car-sharing scooters. {{quote 'Very soon it will have the opportunity to pay for a trip from one point of the city to another using the metro, ground transport and even, possibly, car sharing car, "says Nikolay Kustov, deputy head of the innovation center" Safe Transport "Department Transport Moscow. }}

At the end of last year, testing of a new public transport fare service using a mobile application began in Tver, Perm and Taganrog. The smart payment service through the mobile application was implemented by Datapax.

Passengers do not need to apply smartphones or transport cards to validators. They can simply enter the transport, open the application and pay for travel from any convenient place. The application itself, interacting with a special sensor in the cabin of the vehicle, will determine at which stopping point the passenger entered the cabin, and what is the fare. And when paying for a fare with zonal charging, the passenger needs to choose the final stop and the fare will be calculated automatically.

File:Aquote1.png
Such a digital service fully provides payment without the participation of additional personnel - the driver or conductor. Pilot tests showed that the landing time with this method of payment is reduced by 30%, which means that with the mass use of the service, the total travel time is reduced, - explained in the company "Datapax."
File:Aquote2.png

Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Digital Transport and Logistics Association Kirill Bogdanov noted that the introduction of such a service will achieve one of the important goals of the strategy of digital transformation of the transport industry - maximizing the possibility of cashless payment and forming "green digital corridors" that increase comfort, safety and speed of travel by public transport.

File:Aquote1.png
It is very important that we be able to overcome some administrative barriers, to ensure the possibility of non-discriminatory access to the fare systems that are used in the regions, the expert emphasizes.
File:Aquote2.png

File:Aquote1.png
Micromobility as well as taxis can then be added. And such services will encourage citizens to use not only a personal car, but also conveniently combine, for example, personal transport with a subsequent trip by public transport, "says Andrei Cheremnykh.
File:Aquote2.png

For the practical implementation of such seamlessness of transport services, in particular, end-to-end integration of navigation services will be required: if a person left the car and continued his journey, then the mobile application will pick up geo-positioning data and continue to maintain the route without additional actions in applications.

Andrei Cheremnykh considers one of the important promising types of mobility to be joint trips:

This is important from the point of view of a platform solution. And here it is definitely necessary to work together with the Ministry of Transport in terms of making such trips safe and transparent. After all, both the driver and the passenger must understand what responsibility they bear. The service should be as transparent as possible to the supervisory authorities of the region.

Zolotaya Korona, the developer of the Electronic Travel System, offered its way into the future of integrated payment services. She launched the Transport Roaming project, which aims to create a federal platform for automating fare, operating according to uniform standards.

"Transport roaming" solves the problem of integrating existing separate fare systems into a single ecosystem: in order to travel in public transport of another region, you do not need to purchase an additional (guest) transport card, you can use the one that is already operating. At the same time, fare is paid at tariffs and with the application of discounts in the region where travel is actually carried out.

Russian platforms for the organization of cashless settlements in transport "Convenient Route" and "Electronic Travel" announced the mutual integration of systems based on "Transport roaming." The implementation of the project will allow organizing a single ecosystem for servicing transport cards issued in 62 regions of the Russian Federation.

File:Aquote1.png
The Electronic Travel system works according to the Openness technology, which means it is fully ready for seamless integration with any existing systems, "says Alexander Grishin, head of the Zolotaya Korona Transport Card product line. - Our Transport Roaming project creates the prerequisites for the implementation of the" green digital passenger corridor "and" single payment document "without replacing existing systems and without reducing security.

Toll roads

Today, a number of regional concession projects are being implemented in the country, co-financed by the Federal Road Agency, participants in the Round Table "Paid Road Infrastructure in Russia: Current Status and Development Prospects," which took place as part of the Kazan Digital Week-2021 forum in September 2021. Among such projects are bypassing Khabarovsk, Eastern Bypass Perm, bridge over the Ob River.

Denis Kiryukhin, deputy head of the Department of Regional Development and Implementation of the National Project of Rosavtodor, noted that now the regions are tuning in to the transition from the barrier fare system to the automatic non-stop multi-lane free flow system Free Flow. It saves travel time, eliminates congestion problems at toll points, and also helps reduce accidents at the entrance to toll roads.

New mechanisms for managing car movements require appropriate payment solutions.

For example, GLOSAV Megatoll M11 is a classic toll road solution that includes manual barrier lanes, fast lanes with a transponder, centralized monitoring and control of the toll point level, as well as means of integration into the upper-level toll collection system (TCS), including support for the "single transponder" system. The system is built exclusively on the basis of open source software (Linux, PostgreSQL, Node JS, etc.) and provides integration of the system core with low-level equipment. It includes a system of classification of vehicles (TC) of its own design based on laser sensors, axle counters and inductive loops, which is able to determine rigid and flexible couplings and carry out classification of vehicles with high accuracy, identifying, among other things, the passage of violators by a "steam locomotive." DSRC antenna complexes are used to read transponders with support for both fast travel mode and vehicle queue mode to prevent violators from traveling to vehicles of bona fide transponder users; It also uses its own integrated recognition software for state registration marks (GRZ) of vehicles, optimized for working on the lane of a charging point (PVP) with simultaneous support for GRZ of 52 countries and the ability to read GRZ of violators from an acute angle.

Megatoll Freeflow is a solution for toll collection systems operating in free multi-lane mode at speeds up to 150 km/h. In this case, reading of multi-band flow transponders data is provided at speeds up to 200 km/h.

The solution provides increased accuracy of vehicle identification in accordance with the current charging rules: it detects at least 99.8% of vehicles in the stream, regardless of speed, lane location and the presence of GRZ, by using a complementary set of hardware and software detectors. The recognition of GRZ of 52 countries is supported simultaneously and without the connection of additional modules and cascades, including GRZ trailers and trailers, GRZ motorcycles and "square" GRZ of CIS countries.

The complex also registers the road user and his vehicle in the toll collection system, as well as collects legally significant photo materials about each vehicle that has traveled in the area of the equipment.

Megatoll Freeflow is a high-performance solution that, being installed on the only standard industrial PC, will provide regular work on four lanes with heavy traffic.
