Alef has completed a project to automate the accounting of fur products

The project of labeling and accounting for items of clothing, clothing accessories and other products made of natural fur, implemented in the Russian Federation, with control identification marks (KiZ) with a built-in RFID chip at Alef began on April 1, 2016. Read more about the project here.

Experiment in Russia on labeling goods from fur

On April 1, 2016, an experiment began in Russia on labeling items of clothing, clothing accessories and other products made of natural fur in circulation in the country. It is carried out in order to test the technical capabilities of the product labeling system and in the future should serve as the basis for the introduction of mandatory labeling of goods in the Russian Federation.

Participation in the experiment is voluntary. To do this, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs send applications in electronic form through their personal account on the official website of the Federal Tax Service and during its conduct transfer the necessary information about the labeled product to the labeling information system. Responsibility for violation of labeling rules is not provided for in the framework of the experiment.

In early August 2016, the Federal Tax Service told TAdviser that in almost four months of the experiment, more than 950 participants from all over the Russian Federation were registered in the labeling information system, and the daily increase in the number of participants is more than 10, which indicates the demand for the use of the labeling system by representatives of the fur business.

As part of a voluntary experiment, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs have the opportunity to fully use the appropriate functionality of the labeling information system to prepare and debug their business processes before the start of a pilot project on mandatory labeling, - said the representative of the Federal Tax Service in a conversation with TAdviser.

Joining legal entities and individual entrepreneurs to the experiment will not require significant costs, since the price of one brand is only 15-22 rubles apiece (sewn and glued -15 rubles, hinged - 22 rubles), TAdviser data in the department. The Federal Tax Service added that they pay great attention to ensuring that the labeling system fits as much as possible into the existing business processes of market participants. To do this, regular meetings and consultations with industry representatives are held.

Speaking about the main difficulties of the experiment, the Federal Tax Service noted that a large number of federal executive bodies are involved in the labeling project, and it was very important not only to establish communication with market participants, but also to organize effective interaction with all federal executive bodies participating in the project.

Now the system of interaction with federal executive bodies has been debugged, and all emerging issues are resolved promptly, the department told TAdviser. - In general, the participants in the experiment note the high readiness of the labeling information system to launch a pilot project on mandatory labeling.
