2023

TAdviser journalists won the Digital Journalism 2023 competition

On December 2, 2023, the winners of the Digital Journalism 2023 annual competition among journalists in the field of information technology, information policy and communications were announced.

In the nomination "The best analytical IT material" the winner was the editor-in-chief of TAdviser Alexander Levashov (article "Rush demand and shock loads. How did Russian IT developers survive 2022, having grown by more than 100% ").

Works in the nomination were evaluated according to the following criteria:

  • Relevance of the material topic
  • Social effect of publishing material
  • Recall of the department that used the material
  • Public outcry - discussion in other media, comments, links

Natalya Lavrentieva, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of TAdviser, won the Best IT Interview nomination (interview with Lenta Chief information officer Sergei Sergeyev on key areas and plans for digitalization).

Works in the nomination were evaluated according to the following criteria:

  • Originality of information submission
  • Correctness and accuracy of information
  • Compliance of the publication with one of the directions of the country's IT transformation
  • Public outcry: the number of mentions of the interview itself/references to comments in interviews in other media
  • Importance of the guest expert in the context of digital transformation

In other nominations, Oleg Kapranov (Rossiyskaya Gazeta), Anna Morozova (GTRK Belgorod), Alexey Zabelin (TASS), Ekaterina Ushakova-Rezvykh (Lipetsk Time TV channel), Tatyana Vorotilova (TC "Tyumen Time"), Maria Koleda (Anna News).

The purpose of the competition is to increase the awareness of citizens in the fields of digital transformation and information security.

Professional journalists working in federal and regional media, as well as representatives of the Internet media, were invited to participate. Materials and stories about digital technologies, cybersecurity, innovative trends and telecommunications were accepted, which appeared in the media no earlier than January 1, 2023 and no later than September 30, 2023.

Organizer of the competition: "Digital Russia" - federal party project "United Russia."

The competition commission included State Duma deputy, federal coordinator of the Digital Russia party project Anton Nemkin, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building Irina Rukavishnikova, Communications Director of the ANO "Russia - Country of Opportunities" Sergei Kolyada, head of the press service of the Russian Fund for the Development of Information Technologies (RFRIT) Victoria Polikarpova, press secretary of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications Olga Rozumiy, secretary of the Union of Journalists of Russia, associate professor of the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University and the Academy of Media Industry Roman Serebryanyi, head of the press service of the New Media Workshop Sergei Levanenkov, director of the digital services development and support department of ANO Dialogue Vladimir Kiselev, executive director of RAEK EK Ekaterina Demkina Demkina.

Award from Russoft for drawing attention to the topic of technological sovereignty

On October 3, 2023, Natalya Lavrentieva, deputy editor-in-chief of TAdviser, received the RUSSOFT Award for drawing attention to the topic of technological sovereignty from the non-profit partnership of software developers Russoft.

The RUSSOFT Award is awarded annually in several nominations. In the process of choosing the media and journalists who will receive them, member companies of the association are involved. They choose those who, in their opinion, were maximally involved in the promotion of the Russian software industry.

The need for Russia to move towards technological sovereignty has been talked about at different levels for several years. But since last year, due to geopolitical events, this topic has become one of the central and vital, so now TAdviser pays even more attention to it than before. 2021: Award from Russoft for popularizing the IT industry

On September 14, 2021, the deputy editor-in-chief of TAdviser Natalia Lavrentieva received the RUSSOFT Awards for popularizing the IT industry from a non-profit developer partnership. software "Russoft"

2020: "Best IT Media" following a vote of Russoft members

On September 9, 2020, TAdviser received the Best IT Media Award according to RUSSOFT 2020. The award was awarded following a vote by IT companies that are members of the Russoft Software Developers Association and was presented to TAdviser Editor-in-Chief Alexander Levashov at the Russoft conference "IT Industry and Pandemic: Is Growth Possible in 2021."

President of Russoft Valentin Makarov noted that the prize is awarded to the publication, which, according to members of Russoft, over the past year was "the most significant, effective, interesting from the point of view of IT."

2016

July: Experts called TAdviser edition No. 2 on IT in Russia

On July 19, 2016, TAdviser won the PR in IT Award - 2016, taking second place in the nomination "Best Media Writing about Information Technology." The first and third places in this nomination were taken by CNews and CRN, respectively.

The PR in IT Award was established by the PR community of specialists, journalists and experts in the PR in IT industry with the support of IT companies and professional associations. It is awarded in several categories related to achievements in the field of public relations, media and digital communications in the IT/telecom industry.

June: TAdviser received the prize of the state corporation "Rostec"

In June 2016, TAdviser received the QUANTUM IT Journalism Award, established by the Rostec state corporation. The presentation took place within the framework of the forum "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia - 2016," held in the city of Innopolis.

The goals of the QUANTUM award are to improve the quality of published materials in the media and increase public awareness of projects to introduce the latest technologies in industry.

In total, about 100 applications were submitted for the competition, of which the best publications in industry and business publications were selected, the founders of the award said. The winners were determined as a result of a vote by IT industry experts and journalists.

The main criteria for the selection of materials were the completeness of the disclosure of the topic, the relevance and reliability of information, as well as their publication in print and electronic publications, on Russian television channels and radio stations from January 1 to June 1, 2016.

TAdviser was nominated for the QUANTUM award with the materials of the review "IT in the military-industrial complex 2016."

The review contains an analysis of technological and market trends in the development of information technology in the military-industrial complex. For the first time, it gives an assessment of the volume of this market in Russia in money. The opinions of market players (representatives of defense industry companies) collected as part of the TAdviser review make it possible to learn about the urgent tasks of informatization of the industry from the first statements. The review is the first attempt by the Russian media to comprehensively look at the problems and prospects for the development of IT in the defense industry.

The QUANTUM Award was presented to TAdviser Editor-in-Chief Alexander Levashov. Another winner of the award was Svetlana Ragimova, editor of applications at Kommersant Publishing House.
