2021: Launch a fund to invest in IT companies

Investment company AltaIR Capital, the founder of which is Igor Ryabenky, March 22, 2021 announced the launch of a new fund AltaIR ABO Ventures. Funds from it will be provided to technology startups focused on working in the global market.

The main emphasis of AltaIR ABO Ventures will be placed on the following areas:

The Fund plans to invest 30-50 late stage and pre-IPO projects within three years. The late stage fund will invest in startups through the purchase of shares of early stage investors, the company's press service added.

The target size of the fund is $300 million, of which $50 million has already been raised by March 22, 2021, and the remaining funds are planned to be raised within six months.

Investor names are not disclosed. Ryabenky only noted that AltaIR Capital partners in other funds invested in the new fund.

As of March 2021, AltaIR Capital, according to its own data, made more than 20 successful exits. The return on assets of AltaIR Capital exceeded 100% per annum and will continue its growth in 2021, the company said. The first exits under the AltaIR ABO Ventures fund are planned within the first year after investing in a startup.

Igor Ryabenky emphasized that he invests in all his funds himself, "because he believes in strategy."
