Cloud Foundry Foundation

The structure of Pivotal tries to support low interest in the classical version of "the platform as service" which is replaced with more developed SaaS models (joint a child of EMC and VMware). She announced creation of Cloud Foundry Foundation which will advance the opened Cloud Foundry PaaS-system on business market^[1].

Cloud Foundry works in clouds Amazon Web Services, OpenStack and VMware vCloud/ vSphere and also in a private format. It supports frameworks Java, Scala, Ruby and Node.js DBMS MySQL MongoDb Postgres, Redis and service of messages RabbitMQ.

In the spring of 2016 the Gemalto company announced that she is the first solution provider now on data protection who will join Cloud Foundry Foundation, the basic multi-cloud platform conforming to industry standards.

Being the honorary member of Cloud Foundry Foundation, the Gemalto company will help developers and customers of Cloud Foundry to embed the highest levels of security in the applications created in a cloud. Gemalto will contribute to the development of Cloud Foundry, cooperating with a great number of other leaders in this industry, including with EMC, HP, IBM, Pivotal, Rackspace, SAP and VMware.
