2025: Data Center Launch
In early June 2025, the NTV channel commissioned its own data processing center (DPC) - the DCN1 site. The facility is aimed at external tenants who will be able to place their own equipment in the racks for solving various problems.
The new data center is located in the Telecomplex building, which corresponds to the class A business center in terms of operation and services. The data center located in the Telecomplex technological unit includes an engineering infrastructure completely autonomous from the rest of the building. 11 machine rooms have been deployed, the total number of IT racks in which is 1020. The power supplied is 11.7 MW, IT power - 6.3 MW, power per rack - up to 15 kW. The object corresponds to Tier III level: fault tolerance reaches 99,982%, and downtime does not exceed 1.6 hours per year.
The DCN1 site is provided with unloading, unpacking and equalizing rooms for equipment, test areas and system settings, storage areas for spare parts, tools and accessories. Redundancy of fiber-optic communication lines routing routes is implemented. Six container-type diesel generators are installed at the facility, fuel for which can be delivered by two independent suppliers. Machine rooms are equipped with cold corridors and raised floors. 13 Stulz and Eraco refrigeration machines with a total capacity of 10.5 MW are mounted on the roof of the building. A comprehensive security system with video surveillance, an inspection area for vehicles and visitors has been deployed.
According to NTV executive director Ilya Sitkovsky, as of the beginning of June 2025, about half of the data center's IT capacity is contracted and filled with client equipment. Due to high demand, the technical concept of the second stage of the data center has been worked out.[1]
