2019: Philips purchased the Demant brand

In the middle of April, 2019 Philips redeemed a brand from the producer of Demant hearing aids is glad and brought to the market a premium class product line and also a number of accessories and applications for service of users.

As reported in the press release, a combination of advanced technologies in hearing aids of the Danish company Demant and the brand known worldwide Philips will help Dutch to strengthen positions in the market and to increase number of clients among hearing aid specialists.

The new bonus Philips hearing aids called Philips HearLink in April, 2019 began to be on sale in several countries. Users can connect new hearing aids to devices which they use in everyday life, for example to smartphones and TVs. The range is provided by seven models of hearing aids, including three devices with the taken-out receiver, one zaushny device and three devices of intra ear type.

Besides, Philips Hearlink uses two key technologies for improvement of user interaction — SoundMap and SoundTie which provide a qualitative sound, selecting frequencies of human voices and suppressing the distracting noise. Producers note that the appearance of Philips HearLink hearing aids meets modern expectations of design and convenience of using.

The companies understand that the involvement of users and digital services create the future of technologies of health care. More and more people realize that they can take own medical care under control, and for this purpose use electronic devices. Representatives of the companies consider that correctly used hearing aids of a premium class are capable to change idea of doctors and patients of a touch deprivation and active longevity.^[1]
