2022: Attracting investments from the venture capital fund of the Republic of Tatarstan

In early November 2022, it became known about the investment by the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Incarnation company, which is developing a five-coordinate 3D printer.

The company from Naberezhnye Chelny became the winner of the competitions "Start-1," "Start-2" and "Start-3" from the IVF RT and received funding in the amount of 9 million rubles, was supported by the Innovation Assistance Fund, as well as the Skolkovo Foundation.

Tatarstan Investment and Venture Fund invested in the production of five-coordinate 3D printers

The funds received were aimed at creating a laboratory sample of a five-axis 3D printer, developing domestic software, as well as a system for calibrating the actuators of a 3D printer.

A five-axis 3D printer allows you to create plastic products by layer-by-layer application of molten polymer.

According to the developers, the uniqueness of such a printer lies in the equipment of a rotary-inclined table, which allows you to print hinged elements without auxiliary supporting structures. During 3D printing, the tilt-tilt table changes the position of the printed model so that each subsequent layer is built based on an existing model body.

Users of this equipment, on average, reduce material costs by 26%, increase productivity by up to 2 times compared to traditional 3D printers, and abandon the use of manual labor to remove printer support.

Five-axis 3D printers can be used by production enterprises in the field of oil and gas equipment, defense complex, radio electronics, railway transport, and the aerospace industry. The equipment can also be used in prototyping, small-scale production, and in the manufacture of technological equipment.

The company expects to release a large-format version of the printer in 2023, which will be capable of printing with high-temperature plastics, and these are precisely the products that can be used in the aerospace industry[1]
