2021: Online Education Development Fund will fund creators of popular content

On October 20, 2021, the Online Education Development Fund (FROO) announced the launch of a project to invest in partners producing high-quality content for international educational platforms. Each of them can receive up to 3 million rubles for working on a course or specialization.

Will be able to count the higher education institutions, the companies and individuals owning unique competences in IT, work with data, management, technical and social sciences which want to scale them for wide audience on financing and to monetize.

To collect applications, a special electronic platform is used - the Content Requisition Exchange (RFP). In order to receive an investment, a potential partner must choose the appropriate course topic for him, then go through the process of filling out the application and get the approval of the selection committee. A participant who has completed all the conditions and passed the selection will receive funds for creating content in a short time.

Interaction is possible in two versions: as part of joint content creation based on partner expertise from scratch, or in the format of auditing existing developments and subsequent adaptation by the FROO. Regardless of the choice of interaction option, FROO will provide methodological and technical support to partners. In particular, project participants will be helped to design the results of the training and the program of the course or specialization, develop interactive tasks, conduct video shooting and create the necessary materials, as well as organize the productive work of the author's team.

Access to international educational platforms, for example, Coursera, will help authors discover new audiences of students, strengthen their brand and find new customers and partners.
