On October 5, 2021, The Cohesive Companies, part of Bentley Systems, announced the acquisition of OXplus. The cost of the transaction of the company did not disclose.
OXplus will be the sixth brand to be part of The Cohesive Companies in support of its mission to achieve the highest social, economic and environmental outcomes for infrastructure customers and their constituents. The company supports railway owners, operators and repairmen, as well as rolling stock manufacturers around the world with digital tools and solutions that allow them to better understand the effectiveness of their assets.
It is especially important to me that OXplus's experience in rail and transport operations and service optimization now helps us realize the vision expressed in the UK public sector's desire for a digital twin to improve the social benefits of infrastructure, said Mark Bew, CEO of The Cohesive Companies. |
The acquisition of OXplus will accelerate the expansion of The Cohesive Companies' asset management activities in Europe and elsewhere. Companies will provide consulting, system integration, and technology strategies and services to help owners and operators improve their building information models (BIM), enterprise asset management (EAM ), asset lifecycle information (ALIM), and asset performance modeling environments.
As OXplus CEO Henri Snyders noted separately, OXplus is joining The Cohesive Companies to strengthen its position as a leading digital consultant in the rail and transport sectors.[1]
