It is noted that the construction of a new enterprise required the development from scratch of the raw material base in the region in order to provide the future plant with high-quality potatoes. In August 2021, the company introduced an agricultural warehouse for raw materials in the Novosibirsk region, investments in which amounted to about $30 million.
According to Manzini, which sounded in mid-November 2021, over the past few years, the company has invested more than $40 million in farms that grow potatoes for the company "so that they can develop technologies and optimize production." According to him, such cooperation "is in our DNA."
The president of the company for the region of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, the Caucasus and Central Asia noted that the construction of a plant in Siberia will not only provide this region with the products of the enterprise, but also reduce the carbon footprint for its delivery from the center of the Russian Federation.
