2023: Profit growth 2.6 times to 8.83 billion rubles
Wimm-Bill-Dann (WBD), which unites PepsiCo Inc. dairy assets in Russia, earned 128.86 billion rubles in revenue in 2023, which is 10% more than a year earlier. From the materials of the WBD it follows that in 2023 the company's net profit reached 8.83 billion rubles, which is 2.6 times higher than the profit a year ago. Gross profit during this time rose from 34.52 billion to 40.89 billion rubles, and profit from sales - from 7.53 billion to 11.31 billion rubles.
Accounts receivable of WBD by the end of 2023 increased to 11.13 billion rubles from 9.79 billion rubles a year earlier. Accounts payable also increased - from 18.3 billion to 22.09 billion rubles. The company did not have borrowed funds by the end of 2023, while in 2022 there were 7.27 billion rubles.
The cost of sales from the company in 2023 amounted to almost 88 billion rubles against 82.65 billion rubles a year earlier. Commercial expenses increased from 21.29 billion to 24.12 billion rubles, management costs decreased from 5.69 billion to 5.46 billion rubles.
Wimm-Bill-Dunn produces soft drinks and dairy products. Every year, the company produces over 1.3 billion packages of products that are delivered to almost all regions of Russia. At the same time, the main sales market is Moscow.
After the start of the military special operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, PepsiCo announced its decision to stop the sale of soft drinks, investments and advertising activities in Russia. At the same time, the company continued the sale of dairy products, as well as food for children.[1]
2022: Revenue growth by 8.7% to RUB 117.17 billion
Wimm-Bill-Dann, which combines dairy assets PepsiCo in, Russia ended 2022 with revenue growth of 8.7% compared to 2021. In absolute terms, the figure amounted to 117.17 billion rubles against 107.8 billion rubles in 2021. Net profit in comparison with the same periods rose from 2.14 billion to 6.38 billion rubles. According to Interfax, citing materials from Wimm-Bill-Dann, in 2022 the company produced 940.7 thousand tons of dairy products, which is 8.7% less than a year earlier (1.03 million tons). Milk production increased by 6.7% and reached 433.7 thousand tons.
The production of yogurt and desserts decreased by 18.9%, to 164.1 thousand tons, juice and dairy products - by 38.6%, to 29.9 thousand tons, cottage cheese and curd products - by 17.6%, to 26.8 thousand tons, sour cream - by 21.8%, to 30.2 thousand tons. Cheese production decreased by 9.9%, to 20.8 thousand tons, butter - by 8.1%, to 999 tons, baby food - by 12.2%, to 172.7 thousand tons, cream - by 18.9%, to 15.1 thousand tons, diet products - by 25.9%, to 46.5 thousand tons.
At the end of 2022, Wimm-Bill-Dann spent 4.5 billion rubles on advertising and marketing against 6.16 billion rubles in 2021.
In early March 2022, PepsiCo, against the background of the start of a Russian special operation in Ukraine, decided to suspend the sale of soft drinks in the Russian Federation, stop investments and advertising activities. The company continued to sell dairy products, as well as food for children.[2]
History
2024: Sale of dairy plant in Kuban "Agrocomplex Tkacheva"
The Russian agro-industrial holding Agrocomplex named after N.I.Tkevva bought from PepsiCo Inc a dairy plant in the Timashevsky district of the Krasnodar Territory, which previously belonged to Wimm-Bill-Dann. Financial details and the exact closing date of the deal were not disclosed. This was announced at the end of May 2024 by the agricultural holding.
After the purchase of the enterprise, the new owner - Agrocomplex Tkacheva - invested 233.5 million rubles in its modernization. During the work, a mayonnaise production workshop with a capacity of up to 54 tons of products per day was commissioned. According to Agrocomplex, in the summer of 2024, additional lines will work at the plant:

Raw materials for new production facilities will be supplied from the agricultural holding's own livestock farms. At the moment (2024), 200 jobs have been created at the plant.
The acquired asset was previously one of the largest dairy enterprises in the Southern Federal District. In the summer of 2023, its activities were completely stopped, and staff were fired. In December 2022, the media reported on PepsiCo's plans to sell one of the dairies in the Krasnodar Territory, naming Agrocomplex among potential buyers.
According to a press release from Agrocomplex, by the end of 2023, the company is among the leaders in the dairy industry in Russia, ranking second in terms of raw milk production. Agroholding combines three dairy plants in the Krasnodar Territory with an assortment of over 150 products, which are sold through its own retail and retail network, federal and regional networks, as well as wholesalers throughout the country. In 2023, Agrocomplex sold 95.5 thousand tons of dairy goods.[3]
