2024: Demeter-Holding bought SibPromAgro
One of the largest grain traders in the Russian Federation, Demetra-Holding, bought SibPromAgro. Information about this transaction was registered in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRUL) at the end of May 2024.
It follows from the same register that SibPromAgro was registered in the Omsk region in 2015. The main activity of the company is grain trading. Demeter-Holding acquired 75% of SibPromAgro, and Natalia Fedorova controls the remaining stake.
As the press service of the Demetra-Holding group told Interfax, the acquisition of a stake in SibPromAgro was carried out for strategic purposes.
Due to the joint venture with SibPromAgro, the Demetra-Holding group of companies plans to increase its presence in the Siberian market, characterized by high export potential in the directions of China and Kazakhstan, the company said. |
By July 2024, Demeter-Holding combines assets in the field of export logistics and grain trade. The company develops its own network of elevators, owns deep sea port facilities and logistics infrastructure. The holding includes the largest Russian grain ports - the Novorossiysk grain terminal (100%), the Novorossiysk Bakery Plant (NKHP, 35.36%), and the Taman grain terminal complex (50%).[1]
