2020: Sales growth to RUB 13.5 bln

On April 5, 2021, SMART technologies shared the results of work in 2020. Sales amounted to 13.5 billion rubles, exceeding the 2019 figure by almost two and a half times. This allowed her to take 37th place in the ranking of TAdviser100: The largest IT companies in Russia 2021.

The task set a year ago to expand the customer pool has been completed, the number of customers has increased by 28% compared to 2019. The key at the end of the year were the banking, energy, transport industries, as well as the public sector.

One of the significant projects of 2020, SMART technologies calls participation in the creation of the hardware and software complex "AWS TB" of the Moscow Metro. This is the main component of an integrated transport security system designed to provide information and analytical support for the sustainable and safe functioning of transport infrastructure, prevent acts of illegal interference, including terrorist ones, as well as emergency situations of a man-made and natural nature. The ST.INT software platform created by SMART technologies is designed to implement integration and collection of data from various systems: security and fire alarm systems, MCDS, tunnel penetration control systems and other security systems. The collected ST.INT data leads to a single standard and is transmitted to the WS TB.

Also in 2020, SMART technologies completed a project to migrate a data processing center and modernize engineering systems for the Moscow City Compulsory Health Insurance Fund (MGFOMS). The result of the work was the creation of a fault-tolerant data center infrastructure that ensures the functioning of the equipment and has the necessary reserves for development. In 2020, two divisions of SMART technologies were created: the Department of Custom Development and the Department of Retail. Custom development allows you to implement ideas and technologies, simplify business processes, create and configure tools to improve customer service. The retail department gives customers the opportunity to integrate trading enterprises into the digital economy at a fundamentally different level.

Like the vast majority of enterprises, SMART technologies has acquired in 2020 the experience of organizing full-fledged remote work of employees. The final figures demonstrate that the experience was successful. Its rethinking led to the creation of the first extraterritorial division of the Development Department - the office of the Department of Applied Development in Vladimir, which opened in December 2020.

In 2020, the company demonstrated an increase in revenue and the number of customers, the implementation of serious multitasking projects, the emergence of proprietary products and the optimization of the corporate structure.

2023: Secession from Smart Holding

GC "Aquarius" and SMART technologies leave the holding "Smart Holding" and will continue to work as independent organizations. This was announced on November 30, 2023 by representatives of SMART technologies. The changes are designed to make the management of companies more flexible and efficient given the rapidly changing market and economic realities. Personnel changes due to restructuring are also not planned, the company said.

2022

Rent of the former Adidas office in Moscow

At the end of January 2023, it became known about the lease by Smart Technologies of office space of 10,400 square meters. m in the Krylatskie Hills business center, which is located on Krylatskaya Street in western Moscow. The deal was closed in December 2022, three consultants who worked with this facility told Vedomosti. A representative of Smart Technologies confirmed the information to the newspaper.

It is reported that Smart Technologies did not lease the space from the owner of the business center, but entered into a sublease agreement with Adidas. Since 2015, the retailer has rented about 20 thousand square meters. m. The financial terms of the transaction are unknown to the publication.

The rental rate in Krylatsky Hills, excluding communication costs and VAT, is about 35,000 rubles. for 1 sq. m per year, says Elena Medushevskaya, deputy director of the Nikoliers office real estate department. Yulia Bashmarina, head of the corporate customer services department at CORE.XP, cites a similar figure. Thus, the new office will cost Smart Technologies about 364 million rubles annually.

By the end of January 2023, the main office of Smart Technologies is located in the Comcity business center on the Kyiv highway in the south-west of Moscow. Initially, the IT company rented only 450 sq. m, but over time increased the area in this facility to 3200 sq. m. The lease agreement was signed for a period of five years, but one of the consultants contacted by Vedomosti knows that Smart Technologies has not occupied all these premises.

As the newspaper notes, foreign companies during 2022 actively abandoned their offices or tried to sublet them, say interviewed experts. These premises are often occupied by Russian players.^[1]

Termination of the contract with the Federal Tax Service

Acquisition of Aquarius Group of Companies

Shareholders of the National Computer Corporation (NCC) Alexander Kalinin, Leonid Goldenberg, Evgeny Lachkov and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aquarius Group Aleksei Kalinin announced the termination of the conflict over NCC and Aquarius Group of Companies. 2019

Sales growth by 36% to RUB 5.6 billion.

On March 25, 2020, Smart Technologies announced the results of 2019: sales amounted to 5.6 billion rubles. and increased by 36% compared to the previous one.

2019 was the second year of full-fledged operation of Smart Technologies, and it was important to consolidate the success of the first year of existence with positive results.

One of the components of the significant final indicators was the diversification of the company's activities, as well as an increase in the share of sales of its own products and services. The services department almost doubled its revenue. Customers of 2019 are companies with an extensive branch network and a geographically distributed IT infrastructure from the financial, transport and industrial industries. A number of significant projects were carried out in the interests of state organizations.

Successes in the provision of services have brought Smart Technologies to the federal level. The company's engineers work in customer data centers in St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg and other regions of the country. Despite the universal transition to x86 architecture, sales of support and maintenance services for complex high-load systems, in particular the IBM Z/OS architecture, did not decrease, and even increased for some customers.

The Department of System Integration showed steady growth due to the expansion of the range of sales of equipment from Russian manufacturers and OEM solutions. Smart Technologies continues to actively cooperate with domestic companies, in particular, with Aquarius and Yadro, which are constantly improving their products. In 2019, the company's mission in the field of import substitution was transformed from supplying system components to creating full-fledged complex solutions. The Center for Import Substitution Competencies presented the engineering hardware and software complex ST. Data Center, created in collaboration with Aquarius and KB Borey.

In 2019, the Development Department was formed, which includes groups of business analysts, developers and testers. Smart Technologies is actively developing and building its own products. The list of ST.Agre, ST.Data and ST.Monitor was replenished in 2019 with an automated asynchronous messaging system - ST.MQS.

The company establishes partnerships that allow you to form special services for customers. A landmark event in 2019 was the beginning of a collaboration with In Memory computing software developer, TidalScale. The development of the partnership will enable Smart Technologies to offer customers an x86 architecture recycling solution previously available only on high-performance multiprocessor and high-cost UNIX systems, which will save resources and bring significant savings to customers.

We forecast some growth in sales of infrastructure solutions, as well as our own services and developments, in 2020. The company will focus its efforts on the driver industries of our 2019 success: power, finance and public services. The digital economy is rapidly developing and dictating a high pace for IT companies. Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence technologies will be in demand. We want to convey our view of the digital economy to the state authorities and continue to actively interact with its various branches, in particular, with the relevant committees of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

Launch of technical support and outsourcing center

Smart Technologies on April 9, 2019 announced the official launch of the Technical Support and Outsourcing Center. The center is organized on the basis of the technical department in accordance with the practices of the ITSM methodology.

As part of the Center:

• dispatching service, which provides round-the-clock omnichannel reception of customer requests,
• an operational infrastructure monitoring center operating in 24x7 mode,
• engineer shifts on duty.

According to the company, since the test launch of the project over the past 6 months, the center has reached the required production level.

The Smart Technologies Technical Support Center is primarily aimed at supporting and servicing large corporate and government customers, in its work the center actively uses modern import-substituting technologies.

In the near future, an additional modernization of its own data center is planned, as well as the opening of the Center for Competence in the Field of Import Substitution.

2018

Start of technical support center in test mode

In the fall of 2018, Smart Technologies launched the Center for Technical Support and Outsourcing in test mode.
