History
2022: Completion of rebranding
WaveAccess on September 1, 2022 announced the completion of the rebranding. The changes affected positioning, logo, slogan, corporate colors and fonts.
The changed WaveAccess branding is based on the image of a reliable, high-tech and progressive IT partner who has a special technological and business expertise. This image clearly translates the logo and accompanying graphic elements. The brand's color scheme has also changed: shades of green and dark colors have become an alternative to the old corporate palette. The updated slogan - Form the Future - calls for creating, building, actively shaping the future. If the former slogan - We Make IT Easy - reflected ease in solving problems, then the changed proclaims activity, creation, courage and speed. At the same time, after the redesign, it was possible to maintain individuality and continuity with the same image.
The need for rebranding appeared in connection with the active development and expansion of the company. Since its founding in 2000, WaveAccess has been increasing expertise and improving business processes - along with the company, the visual concept of the brand has also changed. The previous version of the logo and brand attributes, developed in 2013, has ceased to convey the essence of WaveAccess, because over the past few years the company has confidently stepped into the digital era and carried out serious expansion in all areas: opening new offices around the world, increasing the global team to more than 800 employees distributed in 22 countries, creating their own software products, as well as increasing technical expertise.
The updated positioning strategy and its visual components will give us the opportunity to adjust communications to our versatility and broadcast our corporate values. Also, a different approach to branding will provide WaveAccess teams with the opportunity to customize the logo for their tasks, reflecting the peculiarity of each direction and business unit, "commented WaveAccess CEO Alexander Azarov. |
The partner in the project was the international agency kidults, which has experience in the field of branding and design.
We were faced with the difficult task of linking the existing image with updated positioning and creating flexible branding that can include other elements of a large-scale ecosystem, including individual products and services. It is worth noting that IT companies from the B2B segment often turn to agencies for rebranding, while the request to create an image of a reliable business partner is quite popular. In this light, the task of identifying the features of a particular company and expressing its identity through a restrained but noticeable visual language becomes extremely significant, - said Mikhail Shishkin, founder and creative director of kidults. |
WaveAccess branding took over a year to develop. During this time, there were strategic sessions and a series of in-depth interviews with top management and employees that helped lay a firm foundation for visualization. As a result, the only logo was replaced by a brand designer - an ecosystem on the basis of which the company can independently create new logos for products, work areas, business units and other structural divisions.
2020: QMS compliance audit ISO 9001:2015
On June 11, 2020, WaveAccess announced that it had passed an audit for compliance of the corporate quality management system (QMS) with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015. QMS assessment measures were carried out by the international DQS audit and certification holding.
The certification audit was completed in May 2020. Based on its results, the experts of the certification organization DQS documented the maturity of the QMS implemented in WaveAccess: the IT company's services meet the approved standards, and its activities are aimed at continuous optimization of QMS in accordance with market requirements. The compliance certificate is valid until May 2023.
Obtaining the ISO 9001 version of 2015 confirms the customer focus of the business, the constant modernization of technological processes, the presence of regular monitoring aimed at improving production and personnel policy. Also, the certification passed indicates a clear distribution of responsibilities, responsibilities and powers, the availability of instructions documented and known to all employees, a well-developed system of control over the work performed.
The main requirement of the standard is the ability of the company to analyze the business environment, predict potential threats caused by external and internal factors, and prevent their consequences. Thus, a systematic approach to risk management becomes part of the company's corporate culture.
"A well-functioning quality management system is an important criterion for evaluating partners in all countries of our presence. Our processes are built on a transparent model for all participants, where the potential risks and methods of their leveling are described in detail. Integrated QMS allows us to track the effectiveness of business processes according to established indicators, set measurable goals and ensure the availability of the resources necessary to achieve them, "said Alexander Azarov, Senior Vice President of Software Development at WaveAccess. |
The company is also certified according to the international standard in the field of information security ISO/IEC 27001:2013.
2019: Opening an office in Germany
WaveAccess, an international developer of complex software solutions, announced on July 15, 2019 that it will expand its presence in Western Europe. Together with a partner - the German company RD-Software - an office was opened in Karlsruhe, Germany. WaveAccess Germany has 350 + IT experts in its arsenal, a portfolio of 300 + projects for 16 + industries. Since 2001, WaveAccess and RD-Software have been implementing joint projects for German companies, thanks to which a deep understanding of the characteristics of the local market has been formed. Denis Asanbaev, founder of RD-Software, became the managing director of the office.
In the technical and natural science sphere, Germany lacks about 315 thousand employees, according to the Institute of German Economics. And according to the forecasts of the association of enterprises of the digital economy Bitkom, in 2019, about 40 thousand new jobs are expected in the IT market. A special shortage of specialists is experienced by state institutions and municipal structures. This explains the growing interest of the German business community in IT outsourcing. According to IDC research, IT monitoring, cloud services management, IT infrastructure management, data center services, remote user support are most often outsourced.
The characteristics of the state of the German market played an important role in choosing the next WaveAccess development region. The company's office was opened in Karlsruhe, located in Baden-Württemberg - the federal state is famous for its abundance of high-tech clusters, due to which it is significantly ahead of the EU countries in terms of R&D financing, WaveAccess noted.
The opening of an office in Germany is another step in the strategy to expand WaveAccess's presence in the Western European market. After years of working with our partner - RD-Software - we decided to join forces. The focus of development remains the same - the development of complex IT projects to order. Among the priority technological areas are development based on machine learning and AI, the creation of IoT and RPA projects, the introduction of blockchain technology, the development and customization of CRM systems, - said the founder and technical director of WaveAccess Ilya Feigin. |
Joined the team at WaveAccess's German office is Alexander Tarabrin, sales director.
Among the decisive factors that drive the trend of outsourcing in Germany are the acceleration of time to market, cost optimization, lack of relevant knowledge and skills. Choosing the right technology partner is essential. The IDC survey showed that when looking for an IT service provider, German companies focus primarily on flexibility and quality of services, development opportunities using advanced technologies (machine learning, IoT, etc.), industry knowledge and experience, innovative culture and investments in R&D, as well as the presence of a local office, - said Alexander Tarabrin. |
