Biography
Olga Yarilova was born on May 17, 1970 in the city of Yaroslavl.
She graduated from the Yaroslavl Music College. L. V. Sobinov in 1991, Northern International University of Magadan in 2010 with a degree in teacher (pedagogy and primary education methodology). In 2018, she graduated from the magistracy of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President in the direction of "State and Municipal Administration" of the Russian Federation.
In 1993-2005 worked at the Children's Art School No. 1 in Magadan in various positions, since 1997 she was the director of this educational institution.
In 2005-2013 worked in various positions in the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
Since 2013, she was Director of the Department of Tourism and Regional Policy of the Ministry of Culture of Russia.
2018: Deputy Minister of Culture
Since 2018 - Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation. In this post, Olga Yarilova coordinated and controlled the activities of the Department of Regional Development and Priority Projects and the Department of Information and Digital Development until April 2020, when the supervision of the Department of Information and Digital Development was transferred to the new Deputy Minister - Maxim Ksenzov, who previously worked in Roskomnadzor.

According to investigators, in 2022, Viktor Yakubov, Emil Gurbanov and Ilya Safonov, using fictitious Pushkin Cards, deceived Post Bank, the Ministry of Culture and stole more than 200 million rubles. They organized a massive purchase of tickets, but did not hold any events.
