Availability for Dahua Eco-savvy 3.0 line of design cameras

On February 25, 2019, DahuaTechnology announced a major integration project implemented jointly with Ivideon, thanks to which users of cameras with advanced Eco-savvy 3.0 functionality only need to update the internal software of their devices to get a premium cloud-based solution: Eco-savvy 3.0 cameras directly connect to the Ivideon cloud. Read more here.

Basic properties. Requirements

The main properties of Ivideon (as of February 2019) are:

  • all basic features of the system are available free of charge. Additional services are paid (cloud archive and video analytics);
  • Optimal video analytics for small and medium-sized businesses, providing the capabilities of large analytical systems: face recognition, queue detection, determination of the availability of goods on shelves;
  • the quality of work can be assessed without spending money on software and equipment. It is enough to install the Ivideon mobile application and go into demo mode or install the Ivideon Server by connecting existing webcams to it;
  • a loaded system serving more than 3 million users;
  • the ability for customers to view their video anywhere (the network data centers Ivideon is deployed around the world);
  • Ivideon is supported by well-known manufacturers of IP cameras and video surveillance equipment;
  • The free Ivideon Server application supports webcams, a wide range of cameras from different manufacturers, as well as some digital DVRs. It has all the basic functions of a surveillance system. It can work locally without binding to the Ivideon cloud service.

Requirements

  • computer, web or camera (both IP and analog cameras are supported);
  • IP camera with Ivideon service on board. In this case, no computer is required;
  • simple installation of the free Ivideon Server application: just connect the camera to the computer, install the program, and the video surveillance system will start working;
  • access to video information is possible from anywhere where there is an Internet connection.

2018: Three modules of advanced video analytics

In 2018, Ivideon released three modules of advanced video analytics at once: face recognition, queue detection, determination of the presence of goods on the shelves.

According to the developers, Ivideon video analytics accurately recognizes faces in real time and opens up wide opportunities for security and business optimization. A facial recognition system will be needed to identify regular visitors, which is necessary to improve the quality of service, to analyze marketing campaigns, control access to the territory, violations of labor protection rules, and time and attendance.

At the same time, the system allows you to reduce the number of cases of theft. It is enough to upload a photo of the suspect to the database and then search for detections by specific cameras, recognition statuses, photos or names of the person, choosing any available period of time.

The cost of the solution is tied to the amount of traffic, which in turn depends on the number of people on the recognition lists. Thus, the solution is available at cost to small and medium-sized businesses at facilities where the volume of traffic is not as large as in large enterprises.

The Queue Detector module allows you to monitor the appearance of a queue, collect and analyze statistics, send instant notifications about queues to all interested parties in the store, in the warehouse, in front of the cash terminal, in any zone selected for monitoring.

In turn, the service for determining goods on the shelves is intended, first of all, for retailers and allows you to control the availability of goods, track the effectiveness and correctness of window dressing.

2017: Ivideon Cash Register Update

The resident information technology of the Fund's cluster "" Skolkovo Ivideon has released an update to the Ivideon Cash Desk. In the personal account of Ivideon for business, it became possible to connect cash systems: iiko view events from cash desks and their videos. So far, the solution is aimed at automating the restaurant business, but in the near future other areas and cash systems will appear.

Why did you start with cash systems for restaurants? Ivideon's customers include more than 250 restaurants that use video surveillance as a security tool, a quality of service assessment, and even as a means of attracting customers (for example, the 'Dodo Pizza' pizza chain). But most restaurants, bars or cafes are primarily interested in a comprehensive solution that allows you to automate control over the operation of the institution: video surveillance, and the cash system.

The Ivideon Cash Desk solution significantly saves on the implementation and maintenance of the entire system thanks to the cloud architecture. Ivideon uses iiko software to monitor events from cash registers, while using the cloud to store video and event information. All data can be viewed from any browser in your Ivideon account with an intuitive interface. If you only need to watch a video of a box office event, you can do this through applications for iOS or Android.

It is important that cash events are fully integrated with the video sequence - you do not need to manually reconcile operations with video in time. Data from cash terminals is transferred first to the iiko server with the installed Ivideon software, then to the Ivideon cloud, where they are synchronized with video recordings from cameras.

Ivideon Cashier's solution is quickly unfolding, does not require large start-up costs. For restaurants where cash registers with iiko are already installed, you will only need to install a camera, a monthly subscription fee of 990 rubles for an iiko license and from 150 rubles for the Ivideon service for 1 camera. No additional servers are needed.

The next stage in the development of the Ivideon Cash Desk solution is integration with Shtrikh-M cash desks for retail and systems from other manufacturers. The second release of Ivideon Cash Desk is scheduled for spring 2017, in which automatic detection of violations will appear: the user will receive notifications of potential fraud, which can be viewed in the format of daily/weekly reports.

2016: Setting up video cameras from the cloud

On August 15, Ivideon introduced the ability to configure video camera parameters through a cloud service.

Changes to camera settings are not uncommon. The client is not always satisfied with the parameters set by default when installing the system: excessively high picture quality overloads the data transmission channel, the microphone records secret conversations of top managers, the camera IR backlight mistakenly reacts in conditions of specific illumination of the object. To fix this, the specialist has to go to the installation site, for which the business incurs additional costs, especially in cases where the camera is hundreds of kilometers from the office[1]

Service Presentation, (2014)

The process of setting up cameras is simplified and a few clicks in your personal account are enough to set the desired parameters.

Image settings control:

  • video resolution,
  • bitrate and frame rate of the main and additional streams.

All of them directly affect the quality of the broadcast image. Adjusting the parameters of the video stream helps to achieve the minimum possible amount of traffic emanating from the camera while maintaining acceptable image quality. According to the company, this will reduce the cost of owning a video surveillance system by reducing the bandwidth requirements of the Internet channel.

The sound settings affect whether the camera will broadcast the sound. The user may need to turn off the microphone to ensure the privacy of surveillance objects (for example, if the security does not need to hear the conversations of employees). And if the camera is installed in a noisy room, it makes no sense to transmit, listen and record a useless background. Disabling the microphone helps to reduce the amount of traffic transmitted. Setting the time may be necessary if the camera is located in a time zone other than the observer.

Setting the password to enter the camera's web interface was previously done only through the web interface. To do this remotely, it was first necessary to provide the ability to access the camera via the Internet, which is not always possible and far from always consistent with the requirements. information security Now you can set a password in your account in the "cloud," Ivideon from anywhere where there is access to the network.

Network addresses (MAC and IP addresses of the camera) appeared in the updated camera firmware from Ivideon.

2015: Ivideon integrated with IFTTT

On December 21, 2015, Mobile Video Solutions announced the integration of the Ivideon video surveillance service with the IFTTT platform.

The developers announced the availability of the use of video surveillance tools via the Internet as elements of a "smart home." To do this, you need to combine IP cameras integrated with the service with other components of the Internet of Things world.

Sample Software Interfaces on Multiple Devices (2014)
File:Aquote1.png
More than half of Russians dream of a house that itself would turn off the electricity and turn off electrical appliances in an empty apartment, close the crane and even lock the door behind the forgetful owner, inform the owner about the operation of smoke, gas sensors or about entering someone else's apartment. For some, the "smart home" system is a matter of security, for others - savings. Now the most popular service is video surveillance. In Russia alone, Ivideon has hundreds of thousands of customers. Now, by downloading the IFTTT application, they will be able to link home sensors connected to the Internet into one piece.
Andrey Yudnikov, Managing Partner of Ivideon

The Ivideon app now has its own channel. It presents seven templates ("recipes" in the terminology of IFTTT platform developers) that allow you to quickly start using intelligent video surveillance systems.

File:Aquote1.png
author = Andrey Yudnikov
Recipes set the camera's response to various events. For example, it automatically turns on as soon as the smartphone is out of the home Wi-Fi network or the Nest thermostat goes into "away" mode. Both events indicate the departure of the host. When he returns, notifications stop being sent, and the color of the "smart" LED lamp will indicate whether movement was recorded in his absence.

2014: Samsung and Philips sell tens of thousands of smart cameras with Ivideon surveillance service

Ivideon announced in the summer of 2014 the successful continuation of cooperation with two household and household manufacturers electronic engineers Philips. Samsung The number of cameras sold with support for the service of Russian developers has crossed the mark of fifty thousand devices.

Philips became the first international partner of Ivideon, the first negotiations on the start of cooperation took place in the summer of 2013 at the initiative of the Dutch giant. As a result, new models of smart cameras from Philips began to be supplied with Ivideon software. It replaced the installed solutions of other manufacturers, which, due to unstable operation, caused criticism of users. Philips InSight + smart cameras are sold in more than 50 Apple Stores in Central Europe. It is planned that by the end of 2014 more than 50,000 devices will be sold, while the sales level of Philips smart cameras has increased by 30%.

In addition, the agreement on the launch of smart cameras with a pre-installed Ivideon service in the markets of Russia and Eastern Europe was signed by the electronics manufacturer Samsung. As part of the first batch, 10,000 Samsung Ivideon SmartCam devices were released. Their sale started in early June through a branded online store on the Ivideon website (more than 2,000,000 unique visitors per month) and in the networks of the largest Russian distributors and electronics retailers Merlion, Euroset, Eldorado and others. Ivideon will also create several of its own offline distribution points. They will operate in the company's own store on the territory of the Savelovsky shopping center, as well as on the basis of a promo point in the Metromarket shopping center. According to the first months, the iVideon service allowed to raise sales of this type of device from Samsung by 25%.

Cameras with pre-installed software from Ivideon allow you to get an additional set of functions that ordinary IP cameras do not have. This way the camera can itself connect to the cloud storage for archiving records and automatically transmits alarming information about various events, for example, when motion, sound are detected or when the camera is unplanned. For remote communication with the camera, the user can use multi-platform applications running both on desktops (supported operating systems Windows, Mac OS and Linux) and on popular mobile devices running iOS and Android. The Ivideon service has an increased level of security, and its IT infrastructure is georeserved, which avoids the loss of important records.

2013: Ivideon Server 1.11

The Ivideon Server program operates as part of the Ivideon.ru web service, which is provided free of charge for non-commercial use.

Ivideon Server will help any user install their own video surveillance system in five minutes. To do this, you need to create an account on the www.ivideon.ru website, download and install the Ivideon Server program, connect a webcam or IP device, and bind the program to the previously created Ivideon account. After that, you can watch everything that happens indoors in the browser, through your personal account on the Ivideon website, or on the iPhone and iPad screen. The system broadcasts in real time, and also archives video recordings. Thus, at any time, you can view the archive corresponding to a certain date.

The application will be useful to a wide range of users who in everyday life are faced with the need to provide video surveillance of an apartment, cottage, office, store or other object. For example, if you leave a child alone at home, then you may not worry that he will be left unattended. You can see at any time what is happening in the apartment, wherever you are - at work, in the supermarket or in the car. If you go on holiday abroad, you can monitor the work of your employees in the office right on the beach under the scorching sun at any time.

Unlike competitor solutions, Ivideon Server is a universal system that can work with cameras from any manufacturer, not just a limited list of models. In addition, the program does not require an external IP address for normal operation.

New features in Ivideon Server 1.11:

  • A new, improved motion detector has been implemented.
