Purchase of software developer for the exit staff of ClickSoftware for $1.35 billion

On August 7, 2019 Salesforce announced acquisition of ClickSoftware for $1.35 billion. Close the transaction which the buyer will pay both money, and the actions, it is planned until the end of October of the 2019th. At first the companies need to get approval of regulators. Read more here.

Purchase of the developer of the systems of a business intelligence Tableau for $15.7 billion

On June 10, 2019 Salesforce announced the largest purchase in the history. The company buys the developer of the systems of a business intelligence Tableau Software for $15.7 billion and will pay the transaction only by means of the actions. 2018: Datorama purchase

2017

Purchase of MuleSoft for $6.5 billion

In March, 2018 Salesforce.com announced merger of MuleSoft. The cost of the transaction was $6.5 billion, a part of this amount will be financed by own means, and a part - securities. Read more here.

CloudCraze Software purchase

In March, 2018 it became known of purchase of the developer of the corporate platform for CloudCraze e-commerce. The price of the transaction is not set, as well as other terms of agreement. Read more here.

2016

Purchase of Demandware for $2.8 billion

On June 1, 2016 Salesforce.com announced purchase of the developer of cloud solutions for e-commerce of Demandware for $2.8 billion, cho became the largest acquisition in the history of this American company.

The transaction which is going to be closed in July, 2016 is estimated at $75 for the stock Demandware that is 56% more than the cost of securities at the time of closing of the exchange on May 31, 2016. Purchase of Quip for $582 million

On August 1, 2016 Salesforce.com announced purchase of the developer of cloud applicaions Quip more than for half a billion dollars, having continued series of acquisitions.

Merger of Quip will cost Salesforce $582 million which do not include investments of Salesforce Ventures fund. After closing of the transaction which should take place by the end of October, 2016 Quip will become for the buyer completely subsidiary company. Read more here.

Purchase of Krux for $700 million

At the beginning of October, 2016 it became known of sale of software developer for marketing specialists of Krux of Salesforce.com company. Thanks to the new transaction the buyer expects to improve marketing and analytical opportunities of the products and also to create new services on the basis of the purchased technologies.

Purchase of Krux will cost Salesforce.com approximately $700 million. Will pay a half of this amount of Salesforce.com own means, and other part — in the form of the actions. Closing of the transaction is planned for the end of January, 2017. Read more here.

2010: Purchase of Jigsaw Data, Heroku and ExactTarget

In April, 2010 Jigsaw Data Corp was absorbed.

In the 2010th the company also purchased Heroku, the operator of the platform in the form of service supporting development in a number of languages.

And in November, 2010 Salesforce1, the new version of the main platform providing more extensive set of programming interfaces and including the marketing software of ExactTarget company which was purchased by Salesforce.com shortly before it was announced.
