Sanctions policy of the USA and European Union
- In PJSC Sukhoi Company official letters on the termination of technical support and failure on sale of software of Siemens PLM Software (including FiberSim), MSC, etc. are received.
State course towards import substitution
- In December, 2018 A.G. Siluanov signed the Directive on failure of state companies from foreign software according to which state companies in two-month time should develop the plan of import substitution in the field of software till 2021. The share of the Russian software at the same time in state company till 2021 will have to exceed 50% in each class
- Since 2023 all IT infrastructure should be the Russian production, up to 90% of software – the Russian origin

The general problematic issues of process of import substitution in a MIC
- Absence of POLNOGO of a range of domestic software for providing VSEH of stages of development, production and operation of VVST (Arms, the military and special equipment).
- Lack of a common information space for development and production of VVST with ensuring information exchange between the Customer, the enterprises of project and production cooperation (including containing data of limited access).
- Lack of the uniform state and industry regulatory and methodical base for use of digital technologies on all ZHTSI VVST.
- Uniqueness of each OPK manufacturing enterprise and a variety of listed products of VVST which does not allow to create a universal management system of ZHTSI VVST and to implement and apply without additional serious completions.
- Existence of crucial elements of digital production of VVST in which use of foreign technologies is not allowed (storage and information processing, on privacy degree above negrifovanny, management systems for machines and technology equipment).
- At implementation of new domestic software there are no guarantees of long technical support.
Software implementation project Requirements management
- At the first stage of work on the project of the Requirements Management (RM) as software it was selected by software of Teamcenter systems engeneering requirements management (Siemens).
- Further, in connection with imposition of sanctions the decision on reorientation of UT on domestic was made by software.
- On analysis results of domestic software it was selected by software of T-FLEX DOCS (Top Systems Ltd).
- During the course of performance the project considerable completion and software configuration of T-FLEX DOCS was made (on the party of the developer).
- Now works on expansion of functionality of software T-FLEX DOCS, completion of a prototype of the UT System, preparation for carrying out a pilot project are conducted.
Testing domestic PDMCAD//CAM-systems T-FLEX and Lotsman-Kompas
- training of participants is previously provided;
- 6 groups in CB (the 30th persons) (design + external contours + a framework + mechanical systems + pipeline systems + electrical systems);
- 3 production sites (40th persons) (Moscow PC + KNAAZ + NAZ);
- Σ 10000 h testing;
- duration of testing is 8 months (from May, 2018 to January, 2019);
- in February, 2019 in PJSC Sukhoi Companies the Scientific technical conference with the assistance of PJSC OAK and software developers with summing up testing is held;
- based on testing the report is issued.
Outputs based on testing:
- there is very big lag from NX (15-20 years) (difficult surfaces, big assemblies, MultiCAD, the interface);
- part of tasks cannot be executed in general (or it is unfairly difficult);
- labor productivity of the designer is 1.5-3 times lower than in NX (in T-FLEX – 1.5 … 2 times; in the Compass – 2-3 times);
- in PDM problems of management of ESI and EMI (configuring, audits, the statuses and applicability) are not solved;
- importozavisimost (core, libraries, OS).
Notes:
- Comparison was made with the version of Siemens NX of 5-year. Newer version is unavailable because of sanctions of the USA against the Company.
- Advantage of a product of Top Systems company is generally connected using in a CAD-application of a geometrical core of PARASOLID.
Relative level of development domestic PDM/CAD systems
- The carried-out testing and the analysis showed considerable lag of domestic design tools from the western analogs.
- There are no domestic analogs of software for product development from composite materials (PKM).
- There are no domestic analogs of software for design of products for the subsequent production using additive technologies.
Import substitution regarding CAE
- Implementation of LOGOS regarding aero hydrodynamics (instead of Ansys Fluent, Siemens Star-CCM ++) is executed for 90-95% (internal works of PJSC Sukhoi Companies are performed for own means, and completion of software - due to payment of technical support), total now ~ 20 users, "tomorrow" - 30.
- Implementation of LOGOS regarding strength calculations (instead of MSC Nastran) is executed for 80% (internal works of PJSC Sukhoi Companies are performed for own means, and completion of software - due to payment of technical support), total now ~ 40 users, "tomorrow" - 70.
- Implementation SimInTech MathWorks MatLab (instead of) is executed for 40% (internal works of PJSC Sukhoi Companies are performed for own means, and completion of software - due to payment of technical support), total now ~ 60 users, "tomorrow" - 250.
- Implementation of EULER (instead of MSC Adams) is executed for 30% (internal works of PJSC Sukhoi Companies are performed for own means, and completion of software - due to payment of technical support), total now ~ 5 users, "tomorrow" - 30.
Problems of the Company in the course of import substitution regarding CAE
- Failure from use of foreign CAD packets (for example, AutoCAD, Siemens NX) leads to emergence of a problem with earlier issued documentation, decision-making on a neutral format is necessary for broadcast of data from CAD in CAE systems.
- There are no domestic analogs of CAE systems for the solution of the following tasks: electromagnetic statics and dynamics, electromagnetic gas dynamics, optics, casting, welding, topographical optimization of laying of layers of PKM.
ILP and support of operation of products of PJSC Sukhoi Company
- As information system ALP as a part of ILP in the Company the domestic ILS Suite system (Research Center Prikladnaya logistika developer) is used. As a DB in ILS Suite Oracle is used.
- As a documentary system for development of IETR in the Company the domestic TGBuilder system (Research Center Prikladnaya logistika developer) is used.
- As the system of collecting and the analysis of operational these aircrafts in the Company domestic Erlan-2 and Erlan-3 systems are used (Erlan-3 works on to the operating system Astra Linux).
- All ILP components in the Company are integrated into a uniform information circuit.
- For reliability analysis and an otkazobezopasnost in the Company the product RamCommander (ALD company, Israel) is used.
- As a system on reliability analysis and an otkazobezopasnost it is possible to consider MADe software (now a domestic product) or the corresponding modules softwares SimInTech (there is a testing).
System and basic software
2019: Galina Lvova, CDO of "Sukhoy" on TAdviser SummIT - about the movement of holding to the Industry 4.0
Speaking at the TAdviser SummIT conference on November 27, representatives of Sukhoi holding (enters into United Aircraft Corporation) told about experience of the company on the way to the Industry 4.0. Sukhoi is the largest Russian aircraft company with number of workers more than 22 thousand people and implements programs in the field of the military aircraft equipment (the fighters SU-34, SU-35, SU-57, etc.).
The director of the department of development of corporate information systems and digital transformation of Sukhoi Galina Lvova told that in 2018 at "Sukhoy" action of the previous development strategy IT expired and the task to develop new strategy was set. The speaker noted that she from colleagues in IT market heard expression "the hygienic level of automation" and added that he of Sukhoi in all the branches reached this level though the situation at the level of branches and can be heterogeneous.
The company decided to develop new strategy of IT. Before it in "Sukh" defined and analyzed four key factors which influence the company. The first factor – Sukhoi is in the long period of transformation. At first it had to enter into OAK, but then passed under the aegis Rostec which, including, has an impact and on policy of "Sukhoy" in the field of IT, Galina Lvova explained.
The second essential factor – import substitution. Sanctions, and on those IT products on which in the company processes of primary activity are implemented are applied to "Sukhoy", Lvova says. First of all it concerns PDM/CAD/CAE – the systems of reverse engineering. It is that tool on which designers, technologists, engineers work. All last products of "Sukhoy" were projected in electronic form, since 2000th year therefore the question of import substitution in this part is especially relevant.
The third factor – the fourth industrial revolution which influences also Sukhoi company. And the fourth factor – need of end of already current projects.
Galina Lvova noted that there are practically no areas in an IT landscape which in the long term 5-7 years would not influence these factors, but most in detail in the report she stopped on the fourth industrial revolution and what it means for the industry and mechanical engineering in particular.
The company defined the main directions of technologies of the Industry 4.0 in which Sukhoi it intends to invest. Some of these projects, according to the lecturer, as of the end of November already are in implementation phase. First of all, it is the projects connected with digital modeling of the main products. Lvova reminded that one of objects of the labor of the company – the UAV which belongs to technologies of the Industry 4.0.
In design office of "Sukhoy" always made investments in the direction of digital modeling, the speaker added.

In addition to digital modeling technologies of the Industry, perspective for "Sukhoy", 4.0 include augmented reality, a blockchain, robotics and secsorics, Big Data, etc.
The head of department of architectural and functional solutions and digital transformation of "Sukhoy" Larisa Medvedeva in detail lit the pilot project connected using Big Data and the intellectual analysis in the field of production and management processes of Sukhoi company. On this project in the company, first of all, want to learn to work with these technologies, she emphasized.
Experience of use of these technologies is going to be scaled for different processes and the enterprises of holding and, eventually, to use them during creation of digital doubles, Larisa Medvedeva says.
О TAdviser SummIT
TAdviser SummIT took place in Moscow on November 27, 2019 and attracted more than 700 participants - heads and experts of IT departments of the largest companies and the state departments of Russia, representatives of IT developer and contractors. During the action the prospects of digital transformation of business and state agencies, development of technologies, products and services were discussed. The conference took place with assistance of the Ministry of digital development. The head of department Konstantin Noskov who during the open discussion summed up the first results of the Digital Economy national program participated in it. In total in a plenary part and five thematic sections about 60 reports were heard. The action took place in 5 Radisson Blu Olympiyskiy halls.
2018: Works on creation of a product lifecycle management system
One of priority activities of "Sukhoy" in the field of information technology development are works on creation of a product lifecycle management system (SU of ZhTsI) of the aircraft equipment using a complex of modern information technologies of management of lifecycle stages, said in the annual report of the company for 2018[1].
For implementation of the uniform organizational and methodological leadership in works in 2018 "The department of product lifecycle management (DU ZhTsI)" is created.
During 2018 works on the following projects of SU of ZhTsI were carried out:
- creation of a management system for requirements to a product;
- control of the electronic model of a product;
- creation of a management system for electronic archive of products;
- creation of the information management system technology preparation of production;
- configuration management of a product;
- creation of an information system of the integrated logistical support;
- creation of an information system of ensuring technical operation of the aircraft equipment.
In 2018, within the solution of a task of import substitution, testing domestic PDM/CAD/CAM systems was held, it is specified in the annual report of the company.
2004-2009: Implementation of ISU experimental design bureau
In 2004 project implementation of ISU experimental design bureau in Sukhoi Design Bureau - division[2] began[3]. It is the information management system of experimental design bureau intended for ensuring processes of production planning and management of all categories of resources (finance, personnel, material and information) the enterprises and also managements of managerial documents.
In 2002-2003 the working group under the leadership of the CEO which defined the concept of implementation of the information management system and developed corresponding to terms of reference was created. Then the tender among suppliers of integration solutions and the software was held. The option of implementation of ISU experimental design bureau which core were software products Oracle e-Business Suite, Oracle Financial Analyzer and also the systems Documentum, Open Plan Prof, Parus was as a result selected.
ISU experimental design bureau allows to create and support a common information space of interaction of all participants of works, based on the integrated complex of the subsystems connected among themselves: "Project management", Management of finance, Personnel management, Production management, "Purchase management and stocks", Management of documents, Corporate planning (including budgeting), "Accounting and tax accounting", etc., each of which is directed to implementation of the modern principles of planning and management. Besides, the subsystem "Information and analytical service of the management" was implemented.
The main functionality of ISU experimental design bureau was entered in 2008-2009. As of the middle of 2015 in a system more than 2 thousand users worked.
