Rosatom buys a stake in the satellite operator Amtel

Management remains the same, Rosatom does not plan to deal with operational management. We are faced with the tasks of developing the Arctic and the Northern Sea Route, and it is simply impossible to develop shipping and increase cargo traffic without communication. Satellite communications are a fundamental element of infrastructure in the Arctic and northern seas... Rosatom will promote these services and create the necessary infrastructure. We are already working on scenarios for building a single universal infrastructure beyond the Arctic Circle and are consulting with the Russian government on the development of this project, "the press service of the first deputy general director of Rosatom Kirill Komarov quotes.
