Eleksnet — the Russian network of self-service terminals which allowed clients to pay independently goods and services and to make remittances. In addition to payment of services through terminal network payment on the Internet is possible online.

All transactions are performed which has the license of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for banking operations.

Eleksnet — the provider of financial services giving to the clients the round-the-clock opportunity to make payments, to repay the credits in banks and to credit funds to bank accounts, to make remittances, to pay goods and services.

All banking activities in Eleksnet's group are performed by the credit institution of JSC NKO ELEKSNET (earlier - NON-BANK CREDIT ORGANIZATION of JSC MOSKLIRINGCENTRE) having the license of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation No. 3314-K for banking operations. JSC NKO ELEKSNET operates on the market since 1992.

Eleksnet terminals are installed in supermarkets, shops, shopping and entertainment centers, at gas stations, in departments of banks and cellular shops. The majority of terminals works round the clock.

History and performance indicators

  • For January 1, 2020 the company is provided in 74 regions of Russia, the number of own Eleksnet terminals — about 3,300.
  • 2018 — in a year of Eleksnet provided an absolute covering of all gas stations Rosneft and BP in Moscow and the Moscow region. The list of partner banks extended. Now clients the Credit Europe of Bank, Bank of SOYUZ (joint-stock company) and bank Russian Standard can pay the credits without the commission. Also in 2018 became Eleksnet the member of MIR payment system.
  • 2017 — Eleksnet Group became a part petrogas of holding that allowed to strengthen presence at gas stations, to create gas station of self-service and a possibility of gas station with use smartphone. Also in 2017 Eleksnet underwent certification and confirmed compliance to requirements of the standard of data security PCI DSS.
  • 2016 — redesign of the payment website using adaptive imposition.
  • 2012 — the commissions for replenishment of mobile phones through Eleksnet's Purse are cancelled.
  • Since 2011 the company provides service "the E-wallet of Eleksnet".
  • 2010 - One of leaders in the market of instant payments (a share in the market in 2009 — 7%). For July, 2010 at Eleksnet about 4.5 thousand own terminals. Annual revenues are about $40 million, an annual turnover — $1.6 billion
  • In July, 2010 there are messages that Eleksnet can carry over one of state banks. As owners of network say, negotiations on purchase are conducted, among candidates — Sberbank and VTB. According to representatives of banks which know about negotiations, shareholders want to gain up to $100 million for network. Desire of VTB to purchase Eleksnet was announced by the market participants aware of negotiations. The interest of the State Bank is confirmed also by owners of network. "The transaction on sale of "Eleksnet' is not closed yet, but negotiations with potential buyers are really actively conducted. Among them both VTB, and Sberbank, and other banks. If the good price is offered, then shareholders will not refuse an opportunity to leave this project with good profit" — Gleb Davidyuk, the partner of a private equity fund of Mint Capital reported Marker. Moreover, according to the source close to negotiations, the decision is already made for benefit of VTB.
  • 2008 — in all Eleksnet terminals an opportunity to fill up transport cards SUE Mosgortrans is implemented; the technology of reading proximity cards which can work with any cards equipped with the RFID chip is implemented.
  • In 2006 Eleksnet made additional share issue for the amount of $2 million. This packet purchased Benchmark Capital Europe fund (one of shareholders of eBay and some other payment systems).
  • In 2005 the Scandinavian private equity fund of Mint Capital purchased Eleksnet for $10 million. Same year Eleksnet via the terminals began transfer of funds for any Visa card issued by the Russian bank.
  • Since May, 2003 the company begins to cooperate with WebMoney thanks to what Eleksnet's clients can fill up the R-purses via self-service terminals.
  • In January, 2002, Eleksnet leaves to regions — the first self-service terminal in St. Petersburg is installed.
  • On January 1, 2001 the first terminals of instant payment of cellular communication at offices "MTS" and "Beeline" were installed.
  • The company is created in 2000.
