2019: Announcement of the card

On March 25, 2019 Apple provided own credit card created in cooperation with MasterCard payment system and Goldman Sachs bank.

Card Apple is intended for users of iPhone and will be issued as virtual and physical. In the latter case the card executed of titanium will have no number, the verification code and the signature, also it will not have use term. All information on the card will be stored in the Wallet application.

For obtaining the map it is necessary to submit the application in the Wallet application then it will be possible to tie her to a payment service of the Apple Pay and to use for purchases in online and physical shops.

For each purchase on the card the cashback in the amount of 3% for expenditure in real and virtual shops Apple, 2% for any purchases using virtual Card Apple and 1% for purchases using the physical map will be charged. Clients will be able to monitor purchases, to control expenses (statistics is output with automatic distribution by categories — food and drinks, shopping, entertainments, etc.), to check balance and also the status of transaction directly from the application. The round-the-clock support will be performed via the corporate Messages Apple messenger.

Free service, lack of the late charges and the commission for exceeding of a limit and also an opportunity to lower as much as possible is offered to users of Card Apple or even to cancel an interest rate (its size on the presentation was not called), refilling balance on big, than minimum, the amount. 

Start of Card Apple is planned for summer of 2019. Originally service will be available only in the USA, but further its geography of availability will extend — Apple is going to involve in cooperation banks from the different countries.[1]
