2022: Native built-in module for automatic document recognition

On February 24, 2022, it became known that the RES "Priority" - an integrated system for automating documentation control processes - had its own built-in module for automatic document recognition. It is common in Russian federal ministries and is used in state corporations and companies with state participation.

One of the important subsystems of the "Priority" SDU is a module that forms a text layer for graphic format files. Without it, full-text search of documents, copying fragments of texts by users, as well as the work of artificial intelligence and machine learning subsystems using text analysis, are impossible.

This module has been integrated with external ABBYY recognition software. Taking into account the repeated appeals of the clients of SDU "Priority" on the issue of independence of functionality from third-party software, the specialists of the company "Digital Design" conducted a number of studies and implemented their own built-in file recognition module.

The "Priority" SDU background recognition module corresponds to modern practices for the development of highly loaded systems. It supports on-the-fly file recognition for full-text search and provides the ability to store recognized files in the system, as well as scalability and quality settings for recognition.

In January 2022, ABBYY software products were withdrawn from the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computers and Databases. Given this fact, the Priority SDU with its own built-in recognition module becomes even more relevant for authorities and companies obliged to use software products from this registry.

2021

Development vectors of modern SED

The Priority Documentary Management System (SDU) is a specialized solution of Digital Design for state authorities and large companies with state participation. Updating the EDM format

The company "Digital Design" on March 10, 2021 announced the transfer of SED to the current format of MADO.

In accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Digital Affairs of Russia No. 62668 dated 05.03.2021, it is recommended that all users of the MED use the format 2.7.1, which offers additional opportunities for data exchange between federal, regional authorities and a number of public sector organizations.

The company "Digital Design" is a member of the Expert Council for the development of electronic document management in government agencies and participated in the formation of requirements for this format. Therefore, the document management automation system "Priority," the developer of which is "Digital Design," in March 2021 already supports the possibility of exchanging EDM documents using the current format. In accordance with the requirements of the entered format, the transport container becomes the only option for transferring documents and it is possible to transfer only signed electronic signature (PI) documents with a visualization file. Signed on paper and then scanned documents can now only be transmitted as an attachment. Integration of the Stand-Alone Editing Engine Component

New Cloud Technologies, a Russian manufacturer of office software for document collaboration and communication, announced on December 3, 2020 the first commercial integration of the Autonomous Editing Module (AMR) component into the Priority documentation management system manufactured by Digital Design.

Compatibility with Alt Workstation 9

Compatible with Astra Linux Special Edition and Astra Linux Common Edition

RES "Priority"

Load tests were carried out with emulation of a different number of users and the complete operability of the system was confirmed up to 100 thousand simultaneous users, response time for basic operations - less than 3.5 s. Measurements were carried out on a real impersonal database of one large client: the number of documents exceeded 7.5 million, the size of structured database information more than 1 TB.
