2016: Management of corporate master data - a national objective

On June 16, 2016 it became known of creation of consortium in the field of management of corporate master data "Modern technologies of management of corporate master data".

The agreement on its creation was signed by the companies:

• SDI Solution Ltd
• JSC United Engine Corporation (JSC UEC)
• Esdiay Risyoch LLC
• FBU "KVF "Interstandart"
• Stankoinstrument association.

According to participants of consortium, a question of centralized operation by corporate master data - the strategic problem of the state level having infrastructure character which implementation allows to conduct cooperation and modernization of industrial enterprises at qualitatively new level.

The organization of interaction of subcontractors, delivery and promotion of products in the domestic and foreign markets are impossible without formation of the uniform principles of standardization of the description of objects of industrial production on the basis of national and international standards. The solution of the listed tasks offers to the enterprises prospect of free participation in global information exchange.

Are stated by the main areas of work of consortium "Modern Technologies of Management of Corporate Master Data":

• development and commercialization of the cross-industry domestic system of the class MDM (Master Data Management) providing centralized operation with the corporate normative reference information (NRI) in industrial production;
• development and commercialization of corporate information technical references and electronic directories of domestic means of production, standard and the components created on the basis of national and international standards;
• integration of a cross-industry MDM system with components of the domestic engineering PLM complex.

It is expected that application of a MDM system in the field of design-technology preparation of industrial production will allow:

• integrate the domestic applied systems in the field of engineering software and perform their step-by-step input in commercial operation;
• reduce labor input of development of components of the PLM complex due to unification of services for management of the normative reference information;

provide importo-advancing of the created complex of engineering software due to use of the innovative technologies in the field of management of corporate master data;

• develop corporate information technical references and electronic directories of domestic means of production, standard and components on the basis of national and international standards.
• integrate the advanced domestic developments in the field of a CAD within a common information space of storage, exchange and submission of engineering master data;
• provide scaling of the project due to centralization of services for creation and maintenance of corporate handbook data in management companies of industrial holdings and corporations.

The MDM solution integrated with components of the engineering PLM complex will allow industrial enterprise to reach the following business objectives:

• step-by-step, rational substitution of import engineering software at the enterprises, in process of readiness of domestic developments;
• decrease in labor input of cooperation of subcontractors due to standardization of formats of representation and exchange of master data;
• cost reduction on the centralized purchases of MTR on the basis of global identification of nomenclature objects;
• reducing costs for formation of the consolidated statements (up to 50%) due to standardization of descriptions of information objects;
• decrease in labor input of development and component integration of the software engineering complex (up to 30%) due to unification of services, formats of representation and exchange of corporate master data.

Consortium members declared openness of the organization for the participants interested in working off and implementation of the created innovative solutions in the field of the engineering software.
