At the end of 2018 became about start in Britain, allegedly, of the world's largest project for commercial use of electric vehicles. The authorities of London involved in cooperation several companies, including service of the order of the Uber taxi, the supplier of gas and the electric power of Centrica and also the UK Power Networks company which is responsible for supply of electricity.
The program which received the name Optimise Prime is expected three years and will be implemented since the beginning of 2019. At the first stage will be purchased and to be operated electric vehicles in London. In the second half of 2019 such motor transport will be tested for dealing purposes in the southeast and the East of England. It is in total going to produce for roads about 3 thousand electric cars until the end of 2021 that does such project assuming use of electrical machines in business objectives, the biggest in the world.
In implementation process of the program the British authorities want to understand how it is necessary to support business in the course of a gradual failure from cars with internal combustion engines for benefit of machines with electric motors.
The Hitachi Vantara company is attracted to Optimise Prime to creation of infrastructure to electric vehicles. Development of the innovative technological solutions fixing the main problems (first of all high expenses) is planned for ways of mass implementation of electric cars to corporate parks.
Project participants will collect data on trips for the purpose of development of optimal network of points of charging and assessment of demand of use of the electric power.
It is supposed that thanks to data sets and technology of Internet of Things, specialists will gain an impression about requirements imposed by the park of electric cars to city infrastructure.[1]
