The Schneider Electric company announced in October, 2017 opening of sales of universal charging stations for the electric vehicles EVLink Wallbox.
EVLink Wallbox allows "fill" the car with electricity. A charging system is protected from voltage surges. Using power limiting function the station can manage it depending on the current load of network, preventing overloads. The postponed start controlled using an external system of management allows the car owner to postpone charging for night time when electricity rates are reduced.
Wallbox is simple in use: the Plug & Charge procedure does exercises of incredibly easy, it is possible to stop and restart the device a one click.
EVLink Wallbox charging sets are issued for one - or three-phase network. At current intensity 32 A (if the charger of the car is timed on this current) a full charge of the accumulator will make less than 4 hours - much quicker in comparison with use of the household socket.
Construction of stations has high strength and degree of protection of IP54 that allows to set stations not only in private garages, but also and on corporate parkings out of premises. Access control to a charging station provides a key lock: it will prevent access for strangers to the charger if the station is set on the street.
"Schneider Electric participates in creation of infrastructure for electric vehicles in Russia, - Garifullina Lilia, the marketing director of business says Retail of Schneider Electric company. - In Moscow more than 50 refueling stations for electric vehicles of production Schneider Electric are set already. Now in our work more than ten perspective projects on creation of infrastructure of refueling stations in the different cities of Russia".
EVLink Wallbox charging sets are certified in Russia. They passed test by the leading automobile manufacturers for compatibility and are recommended for permanent application for ensuring safe and reliable operation.
For fall of 2017 more than 56000 Schneider Electric stations load electric vehicles in 47 countries of the world.
