2020: Russian-English "antiviral" bus
The British company Arrival, startup of the former Russian Minister of Communications Denis Sverdlov, developed the passenger Arrival Bus bus with zero level of emissions. Set in motion by an electric motor, he locates means of protecting of passengers from spread of a coronavirus by observance of a distance between them[1].
According to developers, the main difference of Arrival Bus from modern buses and electrobuss is existence in its salon of special plastic partitions between rows of seats for risk reduction to ache with Covid-19. Seats can be removed quickly that will allow to reduce the number of places in salon and to increase a distance between passengers.
Including the range of the course and capacity of salon, the company does not open technical characteristics of Arrival Bus. Also there is no information on the cost of such electrobuss and terms of emergence of their first copies on public roads. According to a The Verge resource, development of the electrobus is for the prototype test stage.
Features of Arrival Bus
In addition to plastic partitions and removable seats, Arrival Bus has some other differences from the majority of modern buses. First of all, as specialists of The Verge noted, this significant amount of displays – screens are placed not only in the bus, but on and outer side of its body.
The side screens located outside can note, for example, the doors, the most convenient for landing, proceeding from quantity of empty seats near them. The intra saloon displays placed on top along pass can show information on the forthcoming stops and also for advertizing demonstration.
In addition behind a cabin of the driver vertically focused display executing a dashboard role is located. At the disposal of the driver there is a screen of the big sizes too as in Tesla electric cars, only set horizontally, and over pass in salon the panoramic roof is integrated.
