2022: "Airplane" creates its own digital bank

On October 18, 2022, the Samolet group announced the launch of its own digital bank. To develop this project, the developer created a new company, Aircraft Financial Technologies.

The digital bank will be the first fintech project of this scale in the development industry, the first step in the development of its own platform of financial transactions and services for customers and partners of Avtomol with the prospect of entering other consumer markets, where the developer's partners will be medium and small companies providing products and services to a wide range of retail clients, - said in a press release.

The fintech direction will be dealt with by a new business unit headed by Kirill Gurbanov, who previously held the position of head of the digital business unit of MTS Bank.

The main focus of the new direction will be the creation of financial solutions for the existing and constantly growing pool of Aircraft customers - buyers who are waiting for their apartments and residents of populated areas. Financial products will be developed based on the experience and competencies of the Airplane Group in managing large urban neighborhoods, as well as on the basis of big data on real-world scenarios of customer behavior related to the acquisition of real estate, which will allow customers to make targeted offers, as well as increase their involvement and loyalty to the company.

Within the framework of the digital bank project, it is planned to create:

• Loyalty programs based on a virtual card or account;
• Solutions for convenient payments for housing and communal services and payment for the services of the management company;
• Insurance services;
• Investment products for residential real estate investors;
• Rental of an apartment with gradual redemption and other products.^[1]
