3DXCITE before Realtime Technology (RTT)

The Dassault Systèmes company, the decision maker for 3D - design, creation digital 3D - models and product lifecycle management (PLM), announced in December, 2013 agreement signature about acquisition of a controlling stake in the amount of 84% of Realtime Technology AG company (RTT), the supplier of software solutions for 3D - visualization, marketing and a computer-generated imagery with the headquarters in Munich.

The transaction with RTT includes acquisition of division of the company on software development (the solutions DeltaGen, PictureBook, POS Configurator, etc.), department of marketing consulting and also Bunkspeed branch which offers a line of intuitive software tools for work with graphics, told CNews in the company.

The deal will be closed after accomplishment of standard formalities, including approval by antimonopoly authorities of Germany and Austria. Dassault Systèmes intends to direct the competitive offer to purchase to 100% of capital stock of RTT at the price of 40 euros for an action in the next few days.

In May, 2014 the Dassault Systèmes company announced renaming of Realtime Technology (RTT) acquired company into 3DXCITE. The new brand will provide sales opportunity of strategy 3DExperience not only in the engineering sphere, but also in scales of all business cycle of customers on all communication channels at the expense of the bright, convincing and structured narration.

Reorientation 3DXCITE will have a noticeable impact on all customers of Dassault Systèmes on management of lifecycle of marketing assets and will allow them to increase considerably the value of the digital assets which are daily created by them. For example, the CAD resources which are already closely integrated with production technologies, processes of determination of requirements and design processes it will fully be possible to reuse, in millions of contact points, including in shops, in promotional materials in points of sale, on interactive show-windows, on flyers or at customer interaction through a web.

The newest version of platform 3DEXPERIENCE and the new integrated opportunities 3DXCITE create the business platform which is not limited to the sphere of traditional product lifecycle management. Today platform 3DEXPERIENCE from Dassault Systèmes company provides freedom of creativity and allows to create assets of emotional level in support of digital interactive marketing and sales. Since consulting and production processes and finishing with final visualization, 3DXCITE allows to receive bright visual impressions from technology engineering data.

The solution portfolio 3DXCITE will include three directions: Upstream Experience – including tools for visual design of human-computer interfaces (HMI) and configurators of visual design; Sales & POS Experiences is the visual control directive sale, visual flagman shops; and Consumer Journey Experiences – visual consultants for purchases and visual web configurators.
