Dassault Systèmes announced in June, 2013 the intention to purchase Apriso company, the supplier of software solutions for production organization; the cost of the transaction will be about $205 million. Acquisition of Apriso company from Long Beach, California, will allow to expand possibilities of platform 3DEXPERIENCE on management of production operations at the global level.
Integration of Apriso with an application package of Dassault Systèmes DELMIA and enrichment of functionality of platform 3DEXPERIENCE on work with virtual and real objects is supposed. The solutions Apriso allow to synchronize global factory area networks and give the chance to trace and exercise control over all business processes proceeding at the plants and at suppliers. As a result the general set of operational standards which is giving in to complete management at the global level at indispensable development and satisfaction of customers needs and local market forms. Due to integration of the mentioned solutions into platform 3DEXPERIENCE for the benefit of the user comprehensive vision of business, from the first idea to the final project, from production to products output to world consumer market is formed.
Dassault Systèmes and Apriso signed the final agreement about merge. Completion of the transaction will take place after passing of the standard procedure which includes approval by regulating authorities. Presumably, the deal will be closed in July, 2013.

Solutions of Apriso will be integrated with an application package of Dassault Systèmes DELMIA and will allow to expand possibilities of platform 3DEXPERIENCE on work with virtual and real objects, having finally connected with each other design processes, engineering development, production and formation of consumer perception.
Acquisition value was about $205 million.
