Solutions of Quintiq are used for planning and coordination of work of the most difficult production supply chains in such corporations as Novelis, ASML, Lafarge, AkzoNobel and ArcelorMittal. Besides, solutions are used for planning and optimization of many most difficult logistic transactions in such companies as DHL, Walmart, DB Schenker and TNT. The products Quintiq are applied to planning of all transactions at the Bruxelles airport, in KLM airline, in the Canadian national administration of aircraft and Federal management of aircraft. The solutions Quintiq differs in dominant technologies of optimization, the platform focused approach to long-term strategic planning and operational tactical planning and also rich functionality: the products Quintiq can be used not only for planning of supply chains, but also for planning and optimization of all business operations.

2014: Purchase in Dassault Systèmes

The Dassault Systèmes company signed in the summer of 2014 the agreement on acquisition of Quintiq company, the supplier of traditional and cloud software for work with supply chains and planning and optimization of transactions, for 250 million euros. Acquisition of Quintiq company will allow to expand possibilities of the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform and to use it for planning of business operations, thereby bringing closer Dassault Systèmes to its old purpose – harmonizations of products, the nature and life.

Accession of Quintiq will allow to expand the Dassault Systèmes DELMIA brand and to fill up it with a new line of tools for planning and optimization of transactions in addition to existing solutions for management of production operations and the digital technology systems. Acquisition of Quintiq will expand a range of the provided solutions for such industries as metallurgy, the mining industry, the oil and gas industry, the railway industry, the sphere of transportation and cargo delivery.
