History
2024: TilTech bought 10% of the Divan.ru
On February 7, 2024, it became known about investing in a manufacturer and seller of furniture and household goods Divan.ru. The Tiltech Capital fund has invested in the project (among its co-owners is the founder of the Vkusville network, Andrei Krivenko). The volume of investments was not disclosed, but the size of the share sold to investors is known - 10%. It can be increased to 25% a year after the deal is concluded.
As Kommersant writes with reference to the founder of the Divan.ru, Anton Makarov, the parties have known each other "for several years" and the management methodology of the fund is close to the company. Investment director of TilTech Capital Stanislav Novikov, in turn, noted that the fund has long looked at the furniture and home goods market, seeing a shortage of high-quality products after IKEA left Russia. The fund believes that Divan.ru in five to seven years can reach revenues of 50 billion rubles. The Divan.ru is expected to increase production in 2024 and launch new categories of household goods.
According to Dmitry Gabyshev, Managing Director of Peregrine Capital, the size of the fund's share depends on the fulfillment of the forecast indicators, if not fulfilled, the share can be converted upwards. According to experts interviewed by the newspaper, emerging players in the furniture and home goods market can successfully compete with existing ones, but the growth rate of furniture sales in 2024 will be less than past.[1]
