Expper Technologies

Expper Technologies is an Armenian company engaged in the development of medical robots that are designed to help children cope with fears and loneliness during hospital treatment. In addition, the robot monitors the state of health, stores and analyzes data and prepares reports. The robot control system allows you to schedule visits to patients through a mobile application and provide telemedicine services.

History

2022: Attracting $2 million investment

At the end of January 2022, it became known about investing in Expper Technologies. Members of the AngelsDeck club, the Starta Capital fund and the Liqvest co-investment platform invested in the Armenian developer of medical robots. The seeding round was led by Starta Capital and Liqvest, Healthcare Equity Angels and AiSprouts VC also took part in it. The startup plans to direct the received funding to promote its products and expand the team in the United States.

Armenian medical robot developer Expper Technologies raises $2 million

Today is a very important day for our team. I am overjoyed to report that we have raised $2 million in investments. This was made possible thanks to our wonderful and talented team, united around a big idea - to make this world more caring. According to Expper Technologies' own data, the pilot study showed that in patients under 12 years old, the company's robots increase their level of joy by 26% and reduce stress by 34%. The startup managed to sign agreements with several large clinics in the United States, including Wigmore Clinic, Nork Marash Medical Center and Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA. ^[1]

2019: Creating and raising $200,000 from private investors, SmartGateVC and HIVE Ventures

Expper Technologies, which works in the field of medical care for children, was created in 2019 by funders from Armenia. At the start, the project attracted $200 thousand from several private investors and SmartGateVC and HIVE Ventures funds.
