History

2023: Launch of Russia's largest solar-diesel power plant

On February 20, 2023, Hevel Energoservice announced the launch of Russia's largest autonomous hybrid solar-diesel power plant (ASEU). She is located in the village of Tura, Evenki district, Krasnoyarsk Territory.

A solar panel system with a total capacity of 2.5 MW was built in addition to the existing diesel generator stations in the village. The total capacity of the power plant is 14.1 MW, the press service of the Hevel group clarified.

It is noted that in the daytime, the electricity generated from the solar power plant is supplied to the general network, replacing part of the diesel generation, and the energy storage system smooths out the fluctuations in the power of the solar power plant.

The power plant was built as part of an energy service contract with the municipal enterprise Ilimpiyskiye Elektroseti at the expense of Hevel Energoservice. The volume of investments in the implementation of the project exceeds 300 million rubles. It is planned that ASUE will save up to 644 tons of diesel fuel per year (12%).

The interfacing of solar and diesel power plants takes place in an automated mode. This operation of the equipment ensures the replacement of part of the DPS generation by the development of a solar power plant, which saves diesel fuel consumption and extends the life of diesel generators. The estimated economy of diesel fuel will be up to 12% of current consumption, "said Anton Usachev, director of Hevel Energoservice.

The station in Tura became the first large-scale solar generation facility in the region, says Alexander Ananyev, Minister of Industry, power and Housing and Communal Services of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. According to him, such projects are of particular importance for the northern territories of the region, where production is mainly carried out due to diesel generation.[1]
