2020: "KAMAZ" provided the electric garbage truck
In the middle of June, 2020 "KAMAZ" provided the electric garbage truck which received index 53198 and the market name "KAMAZ-Chistogor".
Innovation is equipped with the traction rechargeable battery created on NMC technology and having the volume of 156.6 kWh. Estimated reserve of the course with a complete mass of the car taking into account work of a superstructure on pressing of garbage is 100 km. Such stock of the course, as a rule, allows to perform not less than two collection cycles and unloadings of garbage on one charging that, in general, corresponds to the normal mode of operation of garbage trucks in the large cities, reported in "KamAZ".
"KAMAZ-53198" also has the following characteristics:
- chassis loading capacity – 12 t;
- garbage truck loading capacity – 6 t;
- the complete mass of the car – 19.5 t;
- load of the leading bridge – 11.5 t;
- load of a front axis – 8 t;
- base of the car – 4400 mm;
- Maximum speed – 90 km/h;
- the overcome bias – not less than 15%.
Also the truck received the system of the help of ADAS of the third level of the class City Pilot to the driver, developed by specialists of Scientific and technological center of "KamAZ" that corresponds to the semiautonomous mode of the movement of the car. The driver executes a role of the operator-controller and only sometimes interferes with process of the movement of the truck", the chief designer of the innovation cars of Scientific and technological center Sergey Nazarenko explained.
According to him, the implemented technical solutions completely exclude emissions of harmful substances in the atmosphere from the truck and cardinally reduce noise level from the vehicle. As a result it is possible to carry out garbage collection, including at night when city roads are free from traffic jams and also to perform safe movement along intra quarter roads in the conditions of their load with the parked cars, the producer notes.[1]
