On September 8, 2022, Prestigio announced the expansion of the product line and announced an updated category of RoadDetector series DVRs to detect video recording cameras for violations.

A DVR with a signature radar detector with a GPS tracker and an offline base of video recording cameras, a FullHD camera and night shooting mode, a supercapacitor and a CLP filter will allow you to keep the road under control at any time of the day, regardless of weather conditions and even without connecting to the Internet to avoid fines.

The 3-in-1 RoadDetector combo device 525GPS recognizes radars and most current complexes (Arrow, Binary, Vizir, etc.) in the X, K, Ka, La ranges, detects the presence of cameras and notifies them 700 meters. The screen displays the distance to the next complex and its type, warnings about signs on the highway and recommendations for speed control. A wide range of functionality is available to the driver in a specially designed menu, which allows, depending on the settings, to turn on or off alerts if necessary.

RoadDetector 525 GPS records high-quality video in FullHD format (1920 x 1080) at 30 frames per second at any time of the day, thanks to the night shooting mode. The viewing angle is 140 ° and covers up to 5 lanes of traffic so that the driver can be aware of what is happening on the road to the slightest detail. You can watch videos comfortably on a 2.3-inch screen.

RoadDetector 525GPS is equipped with a supercapacitor and CPL filter. Unlike a standard battery, the supercapacitor is resistant to temperature drops and ensures stable operation of the device at low and high temperatures. The polarizing (CPL) filter eliminates glare, light and reflection, enhances contrast and color reproduction.

This model, like other DVRs of the Prestigio brand, is equipped with a motion detector, impact sensor (G-sensor) and the function of cyclic rewriting of files on top of irrelevant archival ones. The G-sensor captures the moment of impact of the car. The accident video is automatically saved to a separate folder and is guaranteed to be protected from overwriting.

RoadDetector 525 GPS is made in a stylish laconic black plastic case with an exclusive design. The dimensions of the device are 92x58.6x35 mm, and the weight is only 96 grams. In addition to the standard holder on the suction cup, the kit includes an additional attachment to the 3M tape. Thanks to this, you can take RoadDetector 525GPS into any car, including when car sharing and renting a car while traveling. If necessary, you can turn off the radar in countries where such devices are prohibited, and use it as a regular DVR.
