Tinkoff Mobile begins new regional expansion in partnership with MTS

2023: Launch plan in Bashkortostan and Stavropol Territory

On May 26, 2023, Tinkoff Mobile announced the beginning of a large-scale regional expansion. The first regions of this wave will be the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Stavropol Territory, in which the operator will be launched for connection in May 2023. In the added regions, Tinkoff Mobile will work on the MTS infrastructure, a partnership with which was concluded at the end of 2022.

Prior to this, the operator was available for connection in 68 regions of Russia, where it provides services to its subscribers in partnership with Tele2. Over the past year, the base of active customers has more than doubled.

2022: Plans to expand the geography of the mobile operator's presence

On December 29, 2022, Tinkoff announced the start of cooperation with MTS. As part of the partnership, Tinkoff and MTS will join forces to protect customers from spam and fraud, as well as expand the geography of Tinkoff Mobile's presence.
