Within SaaS model Megaplan represents extensive family of universal software solutions which allow to organize collective work on tasks and projects without serious expenses on implementation and training and also to manage systemically customer relations.

2016

171 million rubles reached turnover of Megaplan company in 2016. The company sold more than 5 thousand licenses to use of CRM "Megaplan" (cloud and boxed versions). Growth of turnover of the company in the fourth quarter in relation to the same period of 2015 was 2016 25%. More than 5 thousand licenses to use of CRM "Megaplan" (cloud and boxed versions) are sold. The greatest sales growth fell on a number of Russian regions and the adjacent states. In 2016 sales of CRM "Megaplan" in Belarus increased by 60%.

2012

In plans for 2012 – growth of revenue of Megaplan by 6 times in comparison with 2011 (data of March, 2012). In Megaplan at this moment 80 people work.

2011

  • Total sales of the company grew by 4 times in comparison with 2010;
  • The staff of the company doubled from 40 to 80 employees;

Products

Megaplan is a set of software products for effective management of business. Megaplan allows to distribute effectively instructions for employees and at any time to be aware of works on assigned tasks. Using Megaplan it is possible to collect in uniform space of all remote workers, to keep financial accounting, to connect to projects of clients and partners. At the minimum costs you get access to software earlier available only to the large companies to effective management of business.

History

2019: The agreement with Rostelecom on development of cloud services for business of Tatarstan

On August 6, 2019 Rostelecom reported that together with the developer of cloud services Megaplan signed the agreement on cooperation in the field of solutions for corporate clients. Read more here.

2016: Sferiq sold 1C a blocking stake of Megaplan

The Sferiq investment company sold the blocking packet (27.06%) in Megaplan company, the player of the Russian SaaS market. The majority shareholder of Megaplan became the buyer of a packet — 1C company specializing in development, distribution, the edition and support of computer programs reported CNews in Sferiq.

2012: 1C purchased Megaplan

In March, 2012 it became known that 1C purchased 51% Megaplan. The investor of the first round – IQ ONE fund (the main beneficiary - Ulvi Kasimov) - saved a block packet of Megaplan according to the results of the transaction. The StartupIndex investment agency was engaged in the organization and structuring the transaction.

The received investments will allow to strengthen development of a product line and to expand the marketing budget, says the parties.

In plans for 2012 – growth of revenue of Megaplan by 6 times in comparison with 2011 the Parties calculate that strategic cooperation will allow to implement closer integration of products of Megaplan with accounting and management decisions of 1C and as a result to offer partners and users new services and opportunities.

Alexander Volchek, the CEO of Megaplan, says that he draws the conclusion of the transaction with 1C Company the companies unique opportunities for development and promotion of products: "We observe this revolution in the market of cloud services for small and medium business. We calculate that the received investments and reaching the new level of cooperation with 1C will allow us to implement ambitious plans - grow quicker than this rapidly emerging market".

During 2011 Megaplan implemented a number of strategic initiatives: in addition to products for the organization of joint work and a task management the line of CRM solutions was started, representations in Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan were open, free products for the small companies are announced.

Earlier, became 1C the co-owner of other cloud service - "MyWayhouse". 1C received funds for acquisition of new assets for the account of sale of a share to Baring Vostok investment fund.

2011: Opening of offices in the CIS countries

  • In July, 2011 in Minsk the official representative office Megaplan opened.
  • On August 17, 2011 it became known that the Megaplan company, selected the Application Packaging Standard (APS) technology maintained by Parallels company for the organization of sales of the applications through resellers around the world. In Russia emergence of products Megaplan is expected in online stores of the largest telecom operators within the coming two months. Thanks to APS all procedure of the order and providing Megaplan service from an online show-window of service provider to the end customer - small business - is performed in several clicks by a mouse from everywhere where there is an Internet access. Using the APS standard any independent developer, whose application is provided according to the SaaS model, can begin to sell it through 5 thousand service providers and telecom operators around the world – partners of Parallels. Thereby, developer SaaS solves a problem of expansion of the sales channel of the services at reduction of time of "embedding" of the product in infrastructure of a single service provider. The existing online platforms of sale of software, the largest of which - AppStore and GoogleApps, mean adaptation (packaging) of software of the developer according to their requirements, and further assignments from sales. Sale of products of developer SaaS through these platforms is complicated not so much by technical difficulties of packaging of service, how many impossibility of payments of assignments from sales to the reseller – SaaS service is assumed by payments depending on the volume of consumption of service. Seeing this problem, Parallels, together with the largest service providers, developed the APS standard simplifying deployment, automatic update, sale of the SaaS-applications through providers around the world.

"The mission of Parallels to assist service providers in quick start of cloud services. APS is the back of this process focused on fast embedding of the developer SaaS applications in infrastructure of provider, - the president of Parallels in emerging markets Pavel Yershov says. – In the conditions of only emerging market of cloud computing in our country to us it is very important that the number of participants of this ecosystem increased, especially at the expense of such popular online services for small business as Megaplan.
  • In September, 2011 the company announced search of the exclusive partner in Kazakhstan. Megaplan is already provided in Ukraine and in Belarus. National versions have the interface in three languages, including English (the user himself selects display language) and also the forms conforming to requirements of the local legislation for details, currencies and templates of drawing of accounts. Under features of the local telecommunication market the SMS organization of mailings from the interface of the program adapts. Megaplan will begin development of the Kazakh version in October, 2011. In Kazakhstan the company selected for complete preparation of a system for work 6 months and a separate project team. Investments into the project at a stage of adaptation of a product will not be attracted: the Megaplan company from own current assets is going to spend for this about one million rubles. The CEO expects to pay back investments already in the first half of the year 2012. On the basis of market capacity assessment in Kazakhstan analysts of Megaplan calculated that by the end of 2012 at least 25 thousand people or, proceeding from the average number of small enterprises, slightly more than two thousand Kazakh companies will use software products of Megaplan for automation of business in Kazakhstan. Attraction a little more than two thousand clients next year will allow Megaplan company in 2012 to earn from the Kazakh market the first million dollars from local users. Sale of software products of Megaplan in Kazakhstan is going to be constructed through the exclusive representative the same as it is made in Belarus and Ukraine. On shoulders of the partner payment acceptance and the organization of document flow with local clients, maintenance of Megaplan designed by the central office of the product website in Kazakh, participation in profile marketing efforts will lay down: the exhibitions, conferences, forums on IT and business subject which are taking place in Kazakhstan, in the long term the organization of technical support in Kazakh. It is expected that in Kazakhstan Kazakh partner will promote. Megaplan in return will provide advertizing and public relations support in all territory of the CIS. At the initial stage of cooperation Megaplan is also going to provide personnel training and clients of the partner and will independently provide technical support.
  • In addition to products of a kollaboratsionny line ("Task manager", Joint work) were started SaaS products for the customer accounting and sales (CRM), focused on medium and small business.
  • In August, 2011 free products (Task Free and CRM Free) for the small companies were announced (up to 7 employees). The size of the active customer base on free products was 9,600 companies on the end of the year.
  • During 2011 three regional representative offices in Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan were open.
  • In 2011 Megaplan participated in more than 40 exhibitions and conferences as the partner/sponsor, including the largest industry
  • During 2011 the personnel structure was significantly enhanced. The commercial director Alexander Volchek was appointed the CEO, on a position of the marketing director of Megaplan there was Terekhov Andrey, to a position of the sales director – Gleb Solovyov.
  • In 2011 the Megaplan company signed more than 20 partner agreements in the direction of strategic cooperation (with such companies as Parallels, Kaluga Astral, etc.).

2006: Start of the project. The niche is found

In 2006 Mikhail Smolyanov and Mikhail Ukolov (the owner Yutinet — one of the ecommerce-projects largest at the moment in Russia) looked for suitable software for the organization of joint work in Yutineta. The suitable solution was not found, and process of search and the carried-out market research showed that in Russia just there are no products for the organization of joint work – full-fledged SSS-services (Content, Communications, Collaboration).

And there was an idea to develop own product for the organization of project activity and joint work in the companies of small and medium business ground under the Russian mentality and realities of business.

As we were going to make really mass product, but not the next bulky boxed solution / the corporate portal needing long completion and implementation by the client the decision to use SaaS model (Software as a Service is software in lease) and to do Megaplan by this cloud service was made.
