U.S. Air Force decided to use the UAVs which are taking away the hit pilots from the ground

In the middle of May, 2019 the Air Force (AF) of the USA announced development of the unmanned aerial vehicle which is intended for rescue of the hit pilots. For creation of such drone military look for the contractor — will be able to submit applications for participation in the tender of the company till July 1, 2019.

The number of the people used in such rescue operations is supposed that the UAV under the working name Personnel Recovery/Transport Vehicle will be able to simplify many times evacuation of pilots of the crashed helicopters and airplanes and also to reduce.

From Personnel Recovery/Transport Vehicle the possibility of reset from air, the fighting radius not less than 185 km and flying speed not less than 185 km/h is required. The rescue drone will have to work in the conditions of highlands at height of 1.2 thousand meters above sea level and at the air temperature of 35 degrees Celsius.

In such autonomous search and rescue vehicle for the help to the military personnel four persons and one set of a stretcher with the wounded should be located. To increase the loading capacity and flying range, the device will not be completely electric: it will receive electric motors with air screws which will eat from the generator working, in turn, from the internal combustion engine.

The concept of Personnel Recovery/Transport Vehicle looks as follows: for example, the military pilot of the USA was hit, but he managed to land in the enemy territory. The transport airliner together with rescue means flies to the location of the pilot. In a back part of the airplane the stage of a cargo compartment reveals and from it the UAV with parachutes which slow down its falling "is reset". Then it begins to fly under the own steam. The drone goes to the location of the pilot, waits for it landing, and then flies back to the friendly line.[1]
