In 2020, TAdviser continued to improve project analytics. In particular, it was decided to reconsider the binding of modular systems to certain classes of solutions. For example, BPM systems with additional modules CRM and (EDMS ECM) will now be tied only to the BPM class, and modules will receive their cards in the database and will be added to projects if used. This will provide a more accurate picture of the market.

As of December 2020, the TAdviser project base has 5750 EDMS/ESM projects. Due to the revision of the mechanics of counting projects, about 700 projects were disconnected from the EDMS class.

At the end of the year, most often in Russia, EDMS/ESM projects are carried out using Directum, Docsvision, Delo, Thesis and 1C: Document Flow systems. These five solutions account for about 45% of all projects in this area.

As of December 2019, the TAdviser database has accumulated over 5.7 thousand projects related to the implementation and development of EDMS/ESM systems. If we consider the statistics for the entire observation period (since 2005), we can note that the largest number of projects relate to the implementations of Directum, Elma, Docsvision, Delo, Thesis and 1C: Document Flow. The share of these solutions in the TAdviser database exceeds 60%.

At the same time, over the past year, information has appeared in it about 600 new projects. In 2019, the TAdviser database was most often updated with information about the implementations of Elma, Thesis, DirectumRX and 1C: Document Flow systems.

If we consider the implementations by vendors, taking into account all the solutions of a particular company related to the EDMS/ECM, then in this case the Top 5, as of the end of 2019, will look as follows: "Directives," Elma, "Electronic Office Systems" (EOS), "Docsvision" and Haulmont.

Half of all projects, information about which is available on TAdviser.ru, are accounted for by 5 domestic systems - Directum, Elma, Docsvision, Delo and Thesis.

Most popular EDMS/ECM systems

As of the beginning of November 2016, the TAdviser project database included information on 3980 implementations of EDMS/ESM systems in various industries. According to these data, the largest number of projects were completed using Directum (677 projects), ELMA (446), Delo (430), DocsVision (428) and 1C: Document Flow (164) systems.

Of course, these figures are far from the real number of implementations, because, for example, only on the 1C company website there is information about more than 1.5 thousand 1C: Document Management implementations. Nevertheless, the announced data allows you to understand which systems are most often used in Russia.

The top ten most commonly deployed systems only feature two foreign solutions, Documentum and SharePoint. This is explained, first of all, by the fact that projects where foreign products are used are taken in volume, not quantity.

Also, the top five in quantitative terms include the ELMA, Directum and 1C: Document Flow of 8 systems - 393, 368 and 124, respectively. In total, the TAdviser database, as of November 2015, contains information on more than 3.3 thousand projects.

Among all projects completed in 2014, and there are about 500 of them in the TAdviser database, the largest number of implementations were in ELMA, Directum, Delo, DocsVision and 1C: Document Flow of 8 systems.

Vendors by number of EDMS/ECM implementations

If we consider the data on implementations as a whole for vendors, then here, according to the TAdviser database, the leader is EOS (553 projects). The second place is taken by Docsvision (416 projects), the third Directum (396 projects). The top five also includes ELMA and NAUMEN - 391 and 155 implementations, respectively.
