The available local SQL tools are quite rigid, slow and tied to a specific basic storage technology, such as HDFS, "said HPE representative Anant Chintamaneni. - Companies need a set of flexibly connected cloud-based query mechanisms that can support multiple analysis and business intelligence tools for different internal data sources.

Ampool uses in-memory caching to improve performance up to 40 times big data Amazon in the Elastic MapReduce processing service and up to 100 times in requests for a data visualization platform. Tableau

According to Chintamaneni, the use of several SQL computing mechanisms based on ephemeral containers, including Presto and Spark, causes the need for constant metadata that must be stored and managed from the outside. The acquired company has considerable experience in creating a common metadata catalog with role-based access control, which provides a uniform view of different internal data sources.[1]
